So, for the past couple years I've been getting random books as presents from my parents or buying them myself. Because of that, I now have a bookshelf of amazing books. I thought I might share some of them to y'all as suggestions for the book club.
Note: these are in no specific order
Framed -
This is my favorite mystery book. Two kids go on an adventure and use T.O.A.S.T. to solve a mystery.
Counting by 7s-
Unlike the title, it doesn't have much to do with numbers. This is a book that takes you on a journey following a twice orphaned, adopted girl. Even though she has suffered more hardships than most people will in their lives, she keeps pushing on.
The Freedom Maze-
Whether you like reading about history or fantasy, this is the book for you. A girl time travels back in time to the days of old America. She learns about her family history, somehow makes friends, and a lot more.
The Little White Horse-
(Pardon my explanation its been about a year since I last read it) A girl is shipped off from her home to go live in an old castle. She discovers many things in and out of it. If you are a fan of descriptive work this is probably the book for you.
The Giver-
Although this is a book I read for school it was probably my favorite. A boy lives in this society where your life is planned out. Your job, your family, your school, your house, your partner, all of it. But, somehow he is chosen to be the next "giver" at his ceremony.
I hope y'all like this list. If I got any explanations wrong pls tell me as for most of the books I haven't read in over a year, thank you for reading! 😊
I LOVE THE LITTLE WHITE HORSE
