@Peacebringer the reason I recommend that parents take a look at the parental guide is not purely because of the LGBTQ+ content that is included in the books. The main reason I suggested it as because there are many topics that are covered in the series that are not necessarily suitable for a younger audience, such as instances of child abuse as well as mental illness. I believe that when it comes to heavy topics like those, a parent should always be informed so they can make a decision about rather or not their child is ready to be introduced to those kind of topics.
Still I would strongly recommend having anyone who wants to read the series have their parents read the parental review of all the Rick Riordan Greek/Roman mythology books
You know the Greeks had a much more tolerant culture when it came to gay life then we do today? I think @Dragon could use a little Thebes in her.

But I have watched a few parts of one the movies, it was pretty cool
The series looks interesting but I don't think I would read it. It looks confusing
Especially the one for "The Trials of Apollo"
It was funny.... until it wasn't, and Cass I would have your mom read the parental guide on the series and the later ones
It's also really funny but I'm not spoiling it
Yep
Whoa cool!!!
