Yes, I will forward all positive comments to her as well. So if you have feedback, write it in the comments and I'll pass it along.
They are really amazing books!!! Could you ask her some questions for me? What inspired you to be an author? How long have you been writing? Your books are amazing! (The last one wasn't a question but, I just wanted to tell her that. It would mean so much to me if you could ask her those things)
I'm taking final questions until July 31st, then sending them to Ms. O'Hearn to answer. Ask now or forever hold your peace :)

I just wish there were more books to the series :(
HHIII JASPERTHEPONY!!!!!!!!!!!! I MISSED YOOUUU!!!! LONG TIME NO SEE!!!!!!!!
I love this series, I finished it as soon as I got the books from the library. Mrs. Alvarez, can you ask her what gave her the idea to make such a series?
Very true Dragon lol
AAAhhhh okay👍
No one is really 'apart of' the Wingbeats book club, we all just kinda pop in and out whenever
This book series is one of the first I have read and it is absolutely the best!
My question for Kate are how she came up with this story? And who her favorite characters are?
I’m not sure if I have to be apart of the book club or not to ask this question 😅.
Trust me, you'll love the first one, and if you don't, thenthere's got to be something wrong with you. Lol
I’m just gonna make sure
Mrs. Alvarez, can you ask Kate O’ Hearn these questions please?: Does Emily look like an Xan by the end of the series, and how old is she?
Maybe
Yea...maybe she was 13 in the beginning, but as the books continued she turned 14?
Well, she was 13 in book one. But you have to think, there’s a lot of unwritten times Emily had in Olympus between books. But thats another question for Kate O’Hearn
Yea. I haven't read them, but I'm aout to.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure she's only 13 years old, but still, it's a LOT. I personally thought all of the changes were just too many. For me it kind of made the last two book a little meh, but they're still good.
I think she's 13....lol
I know she can hear Pegasus (which is awesome
obviously) but wow. She has had 3 bodies in only.. what? 16-18? years of her life lol
Hi Dancekb13. I'm new too. Welcome to the message board.
HELLO Dancekb13!!!!!!!!! WELCOME TO THE MESSAGE BOARD!!!!!!!!! I'M RIVERBREEZE!!!!!! But, you can call me River :D SO GLAD THAT U ARE HERE!!!!!!! WELCOME WELCOME WELCOME!!!!!!!
I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!! And when Emily becomes Xan he can speak to Pegasus. I love them
Emily is the main character btw.
It comes later in the series. The Xan will be introduced in the fourth book. And Emily can't understand Pegasus because she's not an Olympian.
None of that made sense to me, I guess that means I need to read the book
At least from what I remember. It's been a while since I read it.
Cass, I can answer that. She does take on the looks of a Xan in the 6th book. And she can finally (spoiler) hear Pegasus!
Oh! *SPOILER* Mrs. Alvarez, can you ask Kate O’ Hearn for me if Emily looks like an Xan after she becomes one after the 6th book or if she still looks like Diana? I’ve been wondering that a long time
Welcome Rachel!!!! And I LOVE this book Mrs. Alvarez!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was very frustrated though because I got RotR #1 right after it came out, and it ended on a cliff hanger and now I HAVE TO WAIT AN ENTIRE YEAR FOR THE NEXT ONE!!!!! ARG!!!
Hey guys! I just saw in the newsletter that Kate O'Hearn was doing the interview and wanted to ask her some questions. I LOVE her books so much, and she's one of my favorite authors and one of the reasons I started writing. However, I thought that the last two books were kind of...well, they weren't as good as I thought they could have been. In my opinion, there was too much change but the story itself was good. The first two books were the best, the third was really good, but not as good, and the fourth one was still really good, but after that the books started going downhill in my opinion.
Yeah, welcome Rachel. I haven't read this book, but I will definitely be trying to this month
I have read that book before!! It's really, really good!!! I am actually on book 5 in that series and it is awesome!!!! Definatly recommend it!
Rachel, are you new? If so, WELCOME O THE MESSAGE BOARD!!!!!!!!!!! I'M RIVERBREEZE!!!!!!!!!!! But, you can call me River!!! WELCOME WELCOME WELCOME!!!!!
I've read this book at least ten times - if not more - and it never gets old. It's a great read and I cry every time at the end no matter how hard I try not to. All of the books were amazing but the first two were by far my favorites. How did you come up with the idea for the Pegasus series? (Also, the poem in the last book in the acknowledgements was AMAZING and I definitely didn't hate it, just wanted to throw that in there.) Who inspired your characters? Do you have any writing tips for young and beginning writers?
