I mean we all know Frostfire is really a sweetheart inside right? I mean he was abandoned when we was a weanling, raised by a maniac, and trained to be ruthless and cruel. So it really isn't Frostfire's fault why he's like that. It's Rockwing's and Petalcloud's fault.

Yes I know it's his fault for the death of Iceriver. but it's not his fault he's ruthless and cruel.
maybe... but he was forced to become evil and WELCOME
First off, welcome to the MB!!!!
Idk, I agree with the fact that Frostfire diffidently has reasons he's done what he's done, but I think it's not really an excuse. Yes he was very much influenced by his upbringing, but in the end he still made the discission to follow though with his actions. Frostfire is ultimately the one who's at fault for Iceriver's death.
Maybe not a "sweetheart"... but definitely misunderstood! Btw, welcome! I'm Icy :)
I do agree in a different way. I believe he is actually a tough stallion, because of his past experiences and what he had to go through, but beneath all that, I do believe he has a soft spot. And in certain times in the books, it comes out. Like when he thinks of Starfrost, or when he wanted to get to know his parents, or when he started falling for Larksong. So yes I do agree! But in a different way. :)
Also, are you new to this message board??? We haven't met. Hello fellow herdmate who's name begins with Thunder!
I (semi) agree! It's not his fault he is this way, and under other circumstances he would be very different (like anyone would be in his situation). It doesn't excuse the things he did, but it is an explanation. Especially that he was taught everything he was taught well into adulthood, his opinions were far more solidified than Shadepebble's. Normally I don't tend to sympathize/feel sorry for "villain" characters (like- at all), but Frostfire is a special case. (Plus, him and Larksong are one of my top ships in the series so I might be a bit biased XD)
Kinda, I guess
Not really
