I doubt that. There's an Appaloosa, not a chestnut, a bay, not a paint, but maybe the back one is Starsong Echo!

Sorry!!!!!!!! I completely forgot to tell you guys! This glitch happened. But Jennifer said that the artist, David McClennan, described them as "random characters" but she does believe that the bay is Thundersky

Yeah, more like gray. I checked all of the characters in the first part of the book and the only one spotted was Dawnfir who is a bay
Also that Pegasus isn't a chestnut

Couldn't the one with the blue wings be Iceriver because it would make sense that he was flying with Thundersky because they we're good friends
I always thought it would make sense that it would be Dewberry, Morningleaf, and Bumblewind on their way with Star to talk to Snow Herd, but the colors don't match the characters

And that can't be Thundersky... he as two hind socks. 😐 I've just always thought those three represent the pegasi who joined River Herd.
I think the back one is Brackentail but from the glow of the Northern Lights the wings look bright gold... I don't know
I know the bay is Thundersky, but the others I got absolutely no clue. I can ask Jennifer if you want me to
