It had been a few months since Star and Morningleaf had their incident with Brackentail. Through those months Riversun had sent a messanger atleast once a week. One time the messanger had said that Riversun had wanted to make peace with the United Herd. At first the herd was shocked, but then nickered in agreement. But Star had already made up his mind. He told the messanger that he agreed and wished to make peace. The United Herd was excited. They wouldnt be killed by Nightwing's filly! Star was excited too. He didnt have to go through another devastating disaster, like with Nightwing. Life was good, especially since Morningleaf was with Star's foal.

"Hey Star," Morningleaf whispered. She gently nudged his neck with her wing, trying to wake him up. Star jolted up and looked at her, his eyes full of worry. Ever since Morningleaf said that she was with foal, Star guarded her with his life. He never let her leave his sight. "You really do follow me," Morningleaf said once, nickering. "I just want to make sure you are safe.." Star answered. Morningleaf just nickered and flicked her tail at him.

Star sighed at the memory. He started going into a daze until Morningleaf whispered. "Star..." she wrapped her wings around her stomach. "Oh!" Star nickered. He quickly got up and flew towards Sweetroot's sleeping area. It was around midnight, and Star knew she would be sleeping, so he had to gentle. But when Star arrived Sweetroot was up and applying soft leaves and grass for a bed in a grove of trees. Before Star could say anything the old mare nickered. "I figured it would be tonight, can Morningleaf walk a little further?" Star shrugged. "I think so." He flew off towards Morningleaf, who was already trying to stand. With Star's help, Morningleaf got up and started walking. "Can you make it?" Star asked, glancing at the mare's round belly. It looked like she was carrying twins, it was huge. Morningleaf nodded. Once they arrived Sweetroot told Star to stay outside. The whole time the stallion was pacing back and forth. By dawn, he felt like he was going to explode. He couldnt wait any longer. He trotted towards the grove of trees but stopped when he heard soft, little nickers come from the trees. Star perked his ears and saw Sweetroot come out of the trees. She nickered. "Come meet your three foals."
