Patchfeather flew up, away from the grizzly. "Well that was close,.......Dragonfrost!?!"

She franticly looked for him, but he wasn't in the air. Then Patchfeather spotted him, and her heart skipped a beat. Dragonfrost was still by the stream, frozen in fear, as the bear loomed over him.

"DRAGONFROST!!" Patchfeather screamed, as the bear brought it's full weight down on one of Dragonfrost's wings. A sickening crunch echoed through Patchfeather's ears as she dived straight for the bear. She fell full force onto the grizzly, stunning it for a moment.

"Run! Dragonfrost run!" Patchfeather yelled to Dragonfrost, but the bear had already recovered. It swung it's paws around wildly, before Dragonfrost could move he was hit on the side of his head and he fell limply to the ground.

"No." whispered Patchfeather. Then she lunged at the bear again, but this time it was ready for her, it racked it's claws down her back. Patchfeather fell to the ground, the grizzly then swatted her to the side. Patchfeather's head hit a tree, and everything went black....

Patchfeather's eyes opened and her head shot up. "Easy girl," said a calm familiar voice. "You took quite a hit to your head." The voice belonged to Snow Herd's medicine mare, Pineberry.

"W-what happed?" asked Patchfeather.

"We were hoping you could tell us, when the search party found you, you were in pretty bad shape."

"There was a grizzly, and it attacked......were is Dragonfrost?"
