So I know that it is like REALLY close to Halloween and most may not have a story, it's alright if you don't you don't have to do this!! XD Anyways!! I just wanted to see if anyone had any Halloween themed story (Short or not) that they would like to share!! It can be scary but it doesn't have to be, I know some people have a hard time dealing with certain types or all types of scary stuff.
I would suggest that you put down a link to like a google doc if the story is like a urban legend, Creepypasta, nightmare, or just scary in general. (There's a rule that post and comments has to be for children all the way to the age of seven, so yeah.)
If it has any type of Gore in it please put a warning so that if people don't want to read the gore then they don't have to. (Like blood and stuff like that for peeps who don't know.)
If you just want one person to read your scary story then you can send it to me using my school gmail @Echolake(on phone) (yes, I used my school gmail for my phone account but not for my computer account!! XD) I will gladly read them but please give me a warning of anything to scary so I have some idea of what I am getting myself into.
Also I have school work so I can't promise that I will get to your story right away.
Please don't be super rude about any stories, and if the comment has a Gore warning on it and you read it and don't like it cause of the gore, blame yourself for not taking in the warning, don't blame the author.... they put a warning for a reason!! XD
Other than those few guidelines feel free to put down stories and to tell authors what you think about their stories. This is just for fun and I am not requiring anyone to do this!
Have fun, and be spooked!~

UM idk what this is… But let’s just go with it!
Creak… Carolina spun around as the door closed behind her and her friends. She was suddenly regretting their decision to explore the abandoned house at the street corner. “What was that?” Her friend Zayn said.
“I don’t know, and I don’t want to find out.” Tessa said. “Let’s just explore a little more, and then leave and never return?” Carolina said, her voice quivering. Her friends nodded, and they slowly crept down the hallway, into the living room. There were two chairs, covered in dust and cobwebs. The fireplace looked as though it had only just gotten put out. There were spider webs and dust everywhere. Then Tessa screamed.
“RAT!” They all screamed and ran out of the room, and into the kitchen. More cobwebs littered the floor, walls, and ceiling. There were kitchen tools all over the counter and stove top. The oven was open, with an empty pie tin inside it. A bat flew overhead, blending in with the darkness. “I dare one of you to go up to the attic,” Zayn said.
“Why don’t YOU go up to the attic?!” Tessa said. “Or are you too much of a wimp?”
Zayn snorted. “I’m not a wimp!” “Then do it,” Tessa said.
“Alright, I will!” He walked out of the kitchen, and straight into a spiderweb. “GAH!” He yelped, and and jumped around, trying to get the sticky spierwebs off. Carolina started to laugh, but then stumbled into another spiderweb. “ACK!” She tried brushing it off, but it stayed there. “How about we go up to the attic together?” Tessa asked.
Carolina and Zayn nodded. “Let’s do it,” Carolina said, her voice quivering. They simultaneously started creeping towards the stairs. Zayn stepped on the first one. It creaked. LOUDLY. Then Tessa. Another loud creak. Then Carolina. A very loud creak. They continued up the old wooden stairs, creaking with each step. They started to get more scared with each step they took, taking them closer and closer to the attic.
They reached the top of the stairs, thankful they hadn’t fallen off, but terrified of what was up there. They walked past the old bedrooms, not looking through any of the open doors. They stared straight ahead at the ladder that would take them to the attic. They reach the ladder. It was old, wooden, and splintering. Maybe this wasn’t such a good idea after all, Carolina thought.
A slight breeze blew through the open window, rattling the shutters. “I don’t like this,” Tessa whimpered. “Me neither,” Carolina agreed.
“Let’s just get this over with.” Zayn said. Without a second thought he started to climb up the ladder, hoping he wouldn't fall. Carolina and Tessa followed, getting on once the other got off. They entered the large attic.
It was dark, and dusty. It smelled old, and musty. They stepped carefully into the main area, trying not to trip. “SQUEAK!” They jumped. “W-w- What was t-that?” Tessa asked, trembling.
“I think it was a bat…” Zayn said. Carolina gasped. “What is THAT?!?!” They looked to wha she was pointing at. It was an old desk, with a bunch of paper, and quills on it. But that wasn’t the creepiest part. There was a wooden box, turned upside down, with the lid leaning next to it.
“Sh-shouldwe open it?” Tessa asked. “No” “Yes!” Carolina and Zayn said at the same time. “I’m going to open it,” Zayn said.
“Are you CRAZY?!” Tessa said. “No, just curious!” Zayn said. He walked towards the desk, slightly nervous. Tessa and Carolina followed him. They crowded around the strange box, and Zayn put out his hands to touch it. It was extremely dusty, and he left fingerprints on the box.
“Are you ready?” Zayn asked. Tessa and Carolina nodded. He took a deep breath, then lifted the box. They gasped. Inside the box was a single… JELLY BEAN?
ER... YEAH!
My kinda/not really spooky story:
The Vision
Star crept into the darkness, his black mane flowing behind him. He was on a mission. Morningleaf had suddenly disappeared only few minutes before, and he was determined to find her before danger did, if it hadn't already. He shivered at thought, and heard a branch snap.
Star threw up his head. “Who’s there?” he whinnied.
“It’s me, Star,” said a voice in a small whisper.
“Who are you?” he asked, nervous.
There was a long pause.
“Are you still there?” Star asked. Maybe I’m just imagining, he thought.
“I’m still here, Star. What you need to ask, is if your still there.” the voice rumbled, with small hiss at the end.
“What...what do you mean?” Star looked around, when suddenly he was swept off his hooves. “What’s happening?!” he whinnied. A black figure curled around him, blinding him.
“I am your Shadow,” it hissed.
Star screamed and bucked and reared, but the black figure held on to him tight, hissing. The figure curled up into a ball and swirled around Star. Star couldn’t take his eyes off it while it slowly took the shape of a pegasus. A black pegasus, with a white star.
It barred it’s teeth and silver smoke blew from it’s nose. Then, it lunged at Star, wings flared and jaws gapping.
Star screamed and threw his head up. Morningleaf was staring at him in shock.
“What...what happened?” he looked around; he was in a large plain with Morningleaf curled up next to him.
“Uh...not really anything. Did you have a nightmare?” Morningleaf asked.
Star nodded, but he had a feeling that it was more than just a nightmare. It was a vision.
I kinda wanna draw the scene, or maybe someone else could :)
