Ho there, PoT roleplayers! For each new part, starting with 3, we will have a new "cover" for the title page. Submit an image of historical art or photographs (of any visual medium) and explain what it depicts, who the artist designed it was, and how it relates to the rp. I will chose one to be the cover for the next part!

Napoleon's Return from Elba, painted by Charles de Steuben in 1818. It depicts French soldiers defecting back to their Emperor after his return from exile during the Hundred Days. I think it's relevant to the rp because both Leroy and Marlin come from the Napoleonic Era - while Leroy's emotions would match the joy and loyalty of the soldiers, Marlin would be revolted and horrified. At this point in the story, different characters are beginning to take sides, and nationalism to herd or bygone historical lands are being tested.
I know this doesn't count but i wanted to show you guys!
This is a painting of Marie Taglioni, the original lead dancer of the ballet La Sylphide. This was the first ballet to use pointe shoes, because they wanted the sylphs to appear as though walking on air. The painting was drawn by Alexandre Lacauchie in 1841. Since ballet has been introduced to this role play in discussions between Simona and Leroy, I think this picture fits. :)
