Raven:
"Is there a way I can protect him without leaving?" she asked Fig. Looking over his shoulder she saw a centaur. Her eyes widened, she prayed the centaur (AJ) left them alone
Summary:
(*Takes deep breath* -Windfeather btw)
Reba and Sultaan are at his house, Avery left them and went somewhere (Not sure where)
Kilroy and Rowan just met up (I think)
Tristan and Kylie are going to look for Cameron
Merrick and Kelly are still resting and talking
Ben, Rayla and Fig have questioned/been questioning Raven. Raven plans to leave the herd because she thinks it'll make things better for Zayne (We also found out she's betrothed *Gasp*)
Nothing new has happened with Callumroot.
Heisly:
She giggled. "I know right? Do you think this might have an owl or two?" She asked excitedly.
Teirron:
"Uhhh... well, she can't... because... she's too hurt," he replied. "You need to come to her." Teirron hoped that the old mare would believe him and follow him back to the pegasus mare he still didn't know the name of. (SOBZ NIGHTMISTTT)
(ALRIGHT! NEW PART)
Rowan: She hesitated before nodding. She grabbed one off of the tray. "Thank you"
Raven:
She tilted her head, confused. "I don't understand."
Zayne:
"It helps with writing. Because when you start a new sentence, or you write someone's name, the first letter is always capital, or big."
Zayne:
"Ohhh, okay. Well, this is the smaller versions of the larger one, they may not always look the same though," he explained.
Callum:
"Goodnight, Fawny," he whispered back, kissing her cheek.
Ben:
His eyes widened and he trotted after her. "Whoa! Whoa, hold on. Where are you going?" He asked and ran in front of her, stopping Rayla in her path.
Rayla:
"Have a good day Ben." she turned to leave
Raven:
"No clue."
Espen:
He smiled. "Hi! I'm Espen," he said brightly.
Callum:
He rolled his eyes playfully. "You are too then," he whispered, lying back.
Fawnroot:
She smiled and leaned against him. "True, but you're perfect to me." She said simply with a sheepish smile and she sank deeper into the soft grass.
Avery:
She moved to Espen and Rowan. "Hello, again. Would either of you like a biscuit? It's been a long day and there's nothing freshly, baked bread and pastries can't fix. That's what my dam always used to say, anyway." She said with a chuckle then looked at Espen. "Where are my manners? Hello, young one. I'm Avery." She bent down slightly with a kind smile.
Zayne:
"Alright, so, do you know why I wrote this big letter with this small letter?" He asked, looking at Raven.
Rayla:
She smiled back. "I should be on my way. I won't trouble you again." (Not sure if I said that right)
Ben:
He smiled down to her. "Of course. I'm glad to see you feeling better."
(Iโm just thinking, Reba could use some lessons on how to read in Centak. Maybe she and Raven could have a joint class sometime in the future?)
Reba: She laughed with delight. โIt is so cute! We did not have squirrels in the desert! Can I pet it?โ
Squirrel: Her little ears twitched, and she scampered up the wall to get a better vantage point for smelling out vittles.
Rayla:
She bowed slightly to Ben. "Thanks for your help today."
Fawnroot:
She smiled and leaned against him. "True, but you're perfect to me." She said simply with a sheepish smile and she sank deeper into the soft grass.
Avery:
She nodded thoughtfully. "I can make that next. Chicken broth-I should have thought of that." She scorned herself gently, before glancing over her shoulder to Kilroy. "There's enough tea for everyone. If you would, start passing out those cups to those awake or requesting it, and I'll give these," She nodded down at the other tray in her hands, "To those who are uninjured. And just make a simple soup for everyone else."
Raven:
"OK." She watched him write.
(Bye)
Raven:
She bit her lip and shook her head. "No, sorry."
Ulrani:
She smiled gently. "Perhaps the ones who aren't quite as injured. But they all should have something warm like chicken broth," she suggested. "Small portions of your biscuits."
Callum:
He let out a laugh. "Perfect!? I'm nowhere near perfect, my dear Fawn. No one's perfect except in the golden meadow."
Zayne:
"Whatever you want to do, Raven," he said softly.
Kilroy: He flicked his ears. It had been another healer that had treated him after he had been wounded, so Ulrani would not know about his condition and tell Avery...
Raven:
She smiled. "Want to explore the village some time?"
Rayla: She smiled. "I can imagine it, I was there." she said with mock seriousness
Reba: She was about to sign back when she saw a little creature scamper into the room. She flinched at little, surprised. โWhatโs that?โ
Squirrel: โCry Havoc! And let slip the squirrels of war!โ it squeaked, in a chirpy sound incomprehensible to centaurs. Its beady eyes darted around mischievously.
(I canโt help but quote Shakespeare. )
(All the way to pg 31 guys, and then Ima make a new part!)
Zayne:
He smiled and hugged her. "Of course."
Kilroy: He picked up the tray of tea and followed Avery. โWell we better make sure there is enough for everyone else.โ Was that what Avery liked? Boys with big appetites for her cooking? It wouldnโt be hard to be that type- heโd eat as many as it took to make him as bigger than Cole?
(Like my metaphors? This is awkward, most of you are Colery shippers...)
( @Ashsong What if a little animal, like a squirrel or bird or something wanders into Sultaanโs house?)
Callum:
He grinned and rubbed her muzzle with his hands. Cupping it, he kissed her. โCuuutiie.โ
Raven:
"Thank you."
(Me: OOOOOoooooof)
Zayne:
"What Bjorn said was true," he replied with a nod. "Tailors usually aren't the type to jump into other people's business. But yours... I knew I had to do something."
(I gtggg)
Callum:
He laughed and squeezed her. "Yup!... cutie," he said, grinning. "Loooovee youuuuu."
Zayne:
"Of course, Raven," he said gently, smiling.
Grayson:
He went to his tent and fell asleep. The sword fighting had worn him out
Kilroy: He took a bite, teeth first breaking through the the crunchy outside into the soft, warm middle. He chewed a couple times and swallowed contentedly, eyes smiling. โWhy, Avery, these are delicious!โ he said, after swallowing. He laughed. โI usually eat my biscuits plain though, I donโt know how our clientele takes them.โ
(Now I want biscuits!!!)
Callum:
"Pegasi are better than centaurs. Fawn, don't you think I'm right?" He sang, chuckling in the middle.
Sultaan:
"Yes, I like it here; in the trees and in the shade," he signed, exhaling slowly. "I never had anyone to spend it with until you came along."
Espen:
He looked from Avery to Kilroy, a bit confused.
Avery:
She smiled at Kilroy and laughed gently at his sheepish expression. โNo worries,โ She giggled brightly. After a couple minutes of allowing them to cool off, Avery looked to the assortment of little biscuitโs and she pulled one in half with her fork. โOkay. Try this and let me know what you think.โ She slid one half to Kilroy and held the other in her fingers. โDoes it need jam? Or honey? Or something else?โ
David (AKA Jerk): He shook his head in disappointment, and headed out to the Tavern
(AUGH sorry family time!)
Avery:
She smiled over her shoulder and led Kilroy to the back. "If you would fill the rest of those cups up with tea while I get these biscuits out, I'd really appreciate it." She said as she held the kitchen door open long enough for Kilroy to enter in behind her.
She nodded to the pot of steaming tea on the counter next to about a dozen or so wooden glasses. She moved towards the fire and lifted the pan's lid to check on the biscuits. She smelled them, then stabbed a fork into the nearest one. When she pulled it out, the fork was clean. "Ah, perfect." She mumbled then carefully pulled the hot pan from the fire and set it on the counter. "Careful, please. Both pans are hot."
Ben:
He grinned and chuckled, happy that Rayla was happy. "Yeah, yeah. You should be sorry. I wasn't even going to open today. Now a redheads in the back making tea." He grumbled, but his tone of voice was pure tease and playfulness. Ben laughed too.
Rayla:
She laughed harder. "Of course, you are a very dignafied tavern owner. My most humble apologizes, your greatness." she teased, her silver eyes twinkling with joy. She hadn't laughed in years.
(AAAHHHH SORRRYYYYY GIVE MEH A SEC)
Avery:

Raven:
"Yeah," she said with a nod. "Well, that's about it."
Raven:
"After that Dad never had me kill anyone again. Just stealing things, delivering mail, and occasionally wounding a centaur."
Rayla:
She laughed harder. "Of course, you are a very dignafied tavern owner. My most humble apologizes, your greatness." she teased, her silver eyes twinkling with joy. She hadn't laughed in years.
Rowan: She raised an eyebrow at him. "How would I know? Every girl is different, Kilroy. Some girls like flowers. Some like spending quality time with someone. And others would just prefer a kind smile" She stated with a small shrug
Rayla:
She was trying hard not to laugh at the fact the girl had jsut kicked Ben out of his kitchen
Ben:
He turned on his heels to go help the female in the kitchen to prepare the tea. "Uh...Do you need help?"
She spared a moment to look up and she shook her head thoughtfully. "Nope! I've got this. You help council member Rayla or accompany my friends. I'll be out shortly." She said confidently.
Ben nodded and let her have the kitchen.
Avery:
She clasped her fingers together and stretched her arms forward. "Let's get to work." She mumbled to herself. She flew around the kitchen and her worries of Cole and her emotional exhaustion melted away. She grabbed a big enough pan to allow every sick or injured centaur in the Tavern to have a cup of tea as well. This is what she was good at. This is what she enjoyed.
Her hands were steady and sure as she performed a dance that she's danced a hundred times. She flung different spices into the boiling water-cinnamon, crushed seeds, flower petals, peppermint, and ginger.
As the tea was boiling, she also decided to quickly whip up a batch of biscuits. So, she made a large batch of biscuits with the same efficiency that she used to make the tea. She put the little pastries over the fire to cook as well and the sweet aromas of baking bread and boiling tea wafted out of the kitchen.
(THIS right here is why I love Avery XDD my little baker XDD)
Rowan: She looked back at Kilroy and shrugged in response. "Sure"
Kilroy: โDoes anyone want anything to drink?โ he asked. โI saw a samovar around with some tea in it.โ Both girls and Espen looked like they could use something warm up and energize with. Really, just anything to lighten up their eyes a moment before he left.
I think that I might make David an actual character))
