"What?" Windstorm and Moonwind asked at the same time. "Who are they?" Ashriver perked her ears and stepped forward. Two young mares were standing at the mouth of the cave, wet and shivering. Cloudflame walked up to one of them, nuzzling her. "Im glad your safe.." Springblaze and Darkstone perked their ears. Cloudflame looked at them. "Guys, meet my best friend Fallpebble and her twin Skydove." Ashriver walked up to them, studying them. Darkstone's eyes widened and he reared back. "Fallpebble?!" The mare perked her ears, and took a step forward. "Darkstone?" The two suddenly burst into a gallop, running at each other. Darkstone stopped and nuzzled Fallpebble. "I cant believe its you! I havent seen you in so long!" Fallpebble nuzzled him back. "I know!" She took a step back. "You grew so big!" Darkstone nickered. "So did you!" Springblaze stepped forward and nickered. "I assume you to know eachother?" Darkstone nickered. "We were friends as foals. But Fallpebble, meet my future mate, Springblaze."

Ashriver nickered. She knew that was going to happen.

Fallpebble perked her ears. "Nice to meet you!" Springblaze nickered. "Nice to meet you too." Cloudflame walked up to Fallpebble and laid his wing over her back. "To be honest, Fallpebble and I are becoming mates soon also." Ashriver perked her ears. That she was kind of disappointed about, but she was happy for them. "Congratulations!" "Thanks!" Fallpebble nickered. Ashriver nodded and looked at Moonwind and Windstorm. The two were staring at Skydove, who was staring back at Moonwind. Suddenly Ashriver felt something strange. She walked over to Windstorm and whispered. "I feel something weird." The stallion's eyes

widened and he looked at her. "Whats wrong?" "I dont know. I thi-" Suddenly a silver bolt of lightning struck, and a sound of rushing water came from outside. Ashriver reared. "The water is coming!"
