Welcome to the first week of NaNoWriMo! November has begun, and with it, this challenge! I will be posting check-ins every week to see how you all are doing. These posts are where you can talk about various challenges you are facing with your story to seek help or tell me when you have reached your word count goal. Keeping a consistent writing time can be really helpful when reaching this goal. Don't be afraid to reach out! I am doing this along with all of you.

Remember that the prize (an ekphrastic poem written by me) will either go to the first two people to reach their word count goals or the person closest to winning if no one passes their markers. Please be honest when you tell me how much you have written!

@Lunarflame:) and @Windfeather, I still need your finalized word count goals. If I do not get them by tomorrow, I will assume that the 10,000 (Lunar) and 5,000 (Wind) goals you mentioned in my first post are your final ones.
