She coughed blood. She lay outside the stables, bleeding profusly. Sophie was dead, Tala had seen her get killed. And soon she Tala wouldbe dead also.

She swiveled her ears occasionally, keeping an ear out for danger.

Lucas's mind went from one subject to another like he had ADHD, which he wasn't surprised by. His first thought was about his father, then the lab, then about his mother, then what happened after Hunter left, then a few other random events, and then about right now and how he may end up seeing his brother for the first time at least 7 years. He sorta couldn't believe it, though he would probably be like that until he found out if his brother really was here or if he wasn't.

She nickered calmly, enjoying this boys fingers running through her mane.

Lucas looked up at the now small fire in front of them, and his eyes became unfocused as he once again lost himself in thought. But without even thinking about it he kept on combing his fingers lightly through Shadow's mane helping him think some.

She winnied, softly at him, nuzzling him gently.

(That's an oof, I do like 1-2 miles in cross country, but hills yesterday REALLY killed me!! XD)

Lucas, "Yeah yeah, go ahead laugh at me. But I would prefer not to be faced with anymore murders that I don't know well. I have had my fair share of them already." he said casually as he combed his fingers through the Shadow's mane lightly, he had taken a liking to doing so when she put her head in his lap for some odd reason, it seemed to calm his nerves though so he wasn't complaining.

(I feel that, my parents are making me do 3-5 miles in the morning and sometimes I have a lesson later that day,)

She rested her head in his lap snickering softly.

(Nice!! I have joined the Cross Country team and have been killing my legs and my lungs both at the SAME time!! Then I go home and eat some Ice! XD)

Lucas's train of thought died down as he heard Shadow's nicker, he looked down at her alert as he started his way down the tree that he had fallen asleep in. He landed next to the mare and sat down next to her, starting to pet her neck, "I know, I know. I need to stop being a wimp and just go and see if I can find him, but there seems to be a bit of chaos going on in there. So I'm going to wait a few days, if it doesn't calm down then I am just going to guess that it is usual for them, and head inside. Hoping that Hunter isn't in the center of anything to dangerous." He stated as he kept on petting the winged mare.

She lifted her head from where she was laying and nickered softly.

(Ohhj other new stuff that's happened to me at least XD, I've started Jumping with a horse!I've been working on it the last 3 months! )

(Andddd until then, Lucas and Clint time, cause they are nice little friends to mess with!! XD)

Lucas woke up in the middle of the night, with a chill going down his spin. He knew why but didn't want to think of it. Let's just say he remembered one guy from the lab much better than the rest from his rude midnight torture. Anyways he took a good look at his surroundings noticing his fire almost out, but he didn't care to much about that. He found the mare that had been staying nearby the last few days, he started to call her shadow. Then he took a look at the 5th Clan, he had been hanging around the last few days on the outskirts, making sure he didn't get caught by staying hidden inside of trees and hiding the smoke from the few fires that he builds. Anyway in the middle of the night like this mostly everything was calm, though he did notice a little bit of ruckus going on that he decided to just leave alone. Then his mind wandered onto his brother Hunter and he got lost in thought of how he may be here, he may finally be able to meet his older brother AND remember what he is like!

(Oh Noice!! We can be far away school buddies!! XD)
