(so first, i need a good title for this series, so if you guys have any ideas, please tell me! I had a perfect idea for this first story so i had to write it before i got a title name)

Brackentail flew low and fast towards Crabwing's Bay. He had to get there before Star or Morningleaf. He had to know what their secret meeting was, so he had to get there to find a good hiding spot, but where he could still hear them.

Earlier, Brackentail heard Star whisper to Morningleaf "meet me where the bird's dont fly.. at dusk." Brackentail knew that that was Crabwing's Bay, and he had to know what was going on between them. He just had to.

Finally Brackentail arrived. He quickly found a good hiding spot, in a big brush of bushes. Soon later Star arrived. He landed on the soft sand and tensed. This was the place where Crabwing died. Brackentail heard Star sigh then look up into the almost dark sky. Brackentail looked up and saw Morningleaf glide ahead then land gracefully. Brackentail sighed at the sight of her. She was beautiful.. built small but tough and graceful. Brackentail started day dreaming, but quickly shook his head when he heard Morningleaf start talking:

"What do you want to talk about?" Star shrugged his wings slightly. After a few moments of silence he looked at Morningleaf and opened his mouth, "I-"

"Shhh..." Morningleaf put her wing on his mouth. She leaned into him, brushing his wing with hers. "I know what you want, you want a mare, a family."

Brackentail perked his ears, desperate to catch more.

Star sighed and touched Morningleaf's muzzle with his. "I-I just want you.."

Morningleaf whispered "I want you too."

Brackentail couldnt believe his ears. He staggered back. No , he thought. Morningleaf... I want to be with you...

Brackentail quickly ran out of the brush and galloped into the now dark black sky. Brackentail's heart broke. How could Morningleaf do that? Brackentail didnt know anything after that.. except feeling the pain of hitting the ground and darkness.
