"When Brackentail? When can we get them?" Riversun said, snorting. "My patience doesnt last long!" "Calm down, Riversun. Its almost dark, we will meet them soon." Brackentail said in a soothing way.

It had been two days since Brackentail, Riversun, and Stormtail made their plan. Since then Stormtail had been spying on Star and Morningleaf. The first night when Shadepebble had warn them they seemed confused because Riversun hadnt come to attack them. The next night they seemed even more confused. But now, they werent expecting the attack that night. Stormtail wondered though why they havent come to find them. Oh well, he thought.

Riversun looked at Brackentail and exhaled slowly. "Ok." She walked up to him and touched his muzzle with hers. "I trust you.." Brackentail's eyes widened. He backed away but nodded. He looked up at the sky and said, "At midnight."

Star paced back and forth. Where are they? Shadepebble said they would attack us two nights ago! Morningleaf watched Star until she sighed and walked up to him. She put her wing onto his chest to stop him. She put her head against his and nickered softly. "Everything will be okay, we have a plan. It will work." "But I dont have the starfire anymore!" Star whinnied. "How can I defeat a black foal without starfire?!" Morningleaf snorted. "You mean we? You arent going to fight alone, Star." The stallion snorted but nodded. "But why havent they attacked yet? Why dont we just go find them?" Morningleaf looked at him and snorted. "Going to find them is a ridiculous idea, and we have a plan, how many times do I have to tell you that?" Star stomped his hoof and looked at the ground, but didnt answer. The plan was to tell the herd, which have already been told. Shadepebble and Clawfire would spy on Riversun's team and when they would plan on attacking, Shadepebble and Clawfire would warn Star and Morningleaf. Then they would tell the herd. Star and Morningleaf would then wander away from the herd, to Feather Lake where they would always rest together. Then the herd would sneak into the forest behind Feather Lake and hide. When Riversun and her team would attack Star and Morningleaf, the whole herd would come from behind and attack Brackentail, Stormtail, and Riversun. But they all knew that Riversun had the silver fire, and that she was just as dangerous as Nightwing, so they had to be careful.

A few hours later, about an hour away from midnight, Shadepebble and Clawfire quickly spotted Riversun. She and Brackentail were standing together. Riversun was snuggled close to Brackentail, who looked annoyed. Stormtail was nowhere to be seen. "Where is Stormtail?" Shadepebble asked Clawfire. He shrugged his wings. "I dont know." Suddenly they heard a noise behind them. They turned around but nothing was their. They each shrugged and turned back towards Riversun and Brackentail, who were no where to be seen. "Where did they go?!" Shadepebble cried. Clawfire perked his ears but didnt answer. Instead he lead Shadepebble deeper into the forest, searching for the yearling and stallion. , Shadepebble had a bad feeling in her stomach. Something wasnt right. "Clawfire," she whispered. "I think Riversun and Brackentail are attacking Star and Morningleaf soon. We should warn them." Clawfire nodded. "Lets hurry then." The two broke into a gallop towards the end of the forest. When they neared the edge, they pricked their ears and heard loud neighs. They burst out of the forest and stopped, shocked. In front of them were Riversun, Brackentail, and Stormtail with Star and Morningleaf as their captives. "We are to late..."
