I saw some one in the forum asked that question, Mrs.Alvarez said something like Star doesn't have a sire, and his dad is like the hundred year star or somthing

Yes dewberry and hazelwind are both really good friends you can see it in the 2nd book page 2 at the bottom and in the middle. It also says dewberry is 4 years old, and they met in sun herds old army.
