Icefeather: No one said anything or raised their wing, just chatted among themselves. "Well, if there are no questions, I think Oakfire should be the first one to teach you all a new skill!" (If Oakfire wants)
She felt warm and fuzzy when Willowfall said that. She eyed Mosstail warily, though. She had heard Mosstail liked Willowfall from random gossip among the weanlings, which apparently, and thankfully hadn't reached either Mosstail's or Willowfall's ears yet.
Then Pebblesong felt guilty.
First she had replaced Stoneheart by talking to Cinderfrost and becoming her partner for the flight lesson, now she's replaced Mosstail by becoming Willowfall's best friend.
Icefeather: With a large smile (she's excited to get started, she's not being creepy XD), she clapped her wings together. "Looks like most of you know, but there are a few here who don't, so let's go over them." She continues with her speech, talking about the different feathers they have, what they're used for, how to "steer", etc. "Does anyone have any questions before we begin actually flying?"
She gasped slightly and hesitantly extended her short wing to Willowfall. The light pink feathers at the end barely made it to Willowfall's other flank.
"I'm so sorry," Pebblesong whispered. "My brother, Rollingflame died a few years ago, to a tiger while doing captain training. I'm so sorry about your dam..."
She dropped her muzzle next to Willowfall's, ears drooped sympathetically.
She saw Willowfall lower her head and inched closer to her "don't worry, I only know one or two instructions..." she admitted. in all reality she didnt know much about flying at all
Pebblesong hesitated, wondering if she should raise her good wing or her stunted wing to show she might have trouble. She decided to raise her short wing.
Icefeather: Watches with an intense stare as a young filly marches up to her and asks her what they are supposed to be doing, "Good question. Honestly, it all depends on your skill levels. But first," raises her voice. "I see most of you have found a partner. Those of you who haven't, move to my right. Those of you who have, move to my left."
Pebblesong:
"Thank you miss!" She exclaimed, then trotted over to Stoneheart and Cinderfrost. "We can all be together!" She said.
Riverblaze: To Everhope, Riverblaze said, "I'm so excited!"
Oakfire: "In your groups, the biggest pegasus will fly in front, and the rest will try to catch the air currents to make flying easier."
Icefeather: She nodded her head in agreement, "Why don't you show them?"
After stating her opinion, she trotted back to Pebblesong, "You will be allowed to work in fours if you so desire."
Oakfire: "I think we should! Then they can draft! We should teach them that first!"
(@Stormfrost, did you see my last comment?)
(Ignore what she said before this, I guess)
Icefeather: "Hmm, good question, Pebblesong. Let me talk to the other instructor and we'll get back to you in a second."
She turns to Oakfire and repeats Pebblesong's question, "So what do you think? Should we let them work in groups of 4s?"
Icefeather: No one said anything or raised their wing, just chatted among themselves. "Well, if there are no questions, I think Oakfire should be the first one to teach you all a new skill!" (If Oakfire wants)

Pebblesong hoped she hadn't made anyone sad.
Pebblesong
She smiled back "no problem" she said, happy to have someone to relate to.
She raised her muzzle again. "Miss? Can we work in groups of an even number, or does it have to be pairs?"
Lakefeather shook her head

Everhope:
" his is hard, i cant do it." as she falls to the ground. she hits the ground with a thud.

Lakefeather raised her wing high, she already knew a lot but not everything
Riverblaze: Riverblaze raised her wings and hovered a little off the ground on her short wings, beating fast like a hummingbird.
Pebblesong
Pebblesong hesitated, wondering if she should raise her good wing or her stunted wing to show she might have trouble. She decided to raise her short wing.
Stoneheart
Stondheart raised his wing
Cinderfrost
Cinderfrost raised her wing
Icefeather: Everyone, as one, moved to her left, "Alright, that settles that. Raise your wing if you know the basics of flying."
(Has everyone gotten a partner already?)
