Favorite Horse Movies??

HEY GUYS!! I have a quick question, what are some of your favorite horse movies?? For me, it would be either Flicka or Spirit: Stallion of the Cimmaron, although Dreamer is a good one too!! How about you guys? I'm interested to know! Have a great day! And enjoy a horse GIF!

@Stormsun I'm still trying to remember what season this is from.... I went through a MLP faze when I was like Ten and watched like the entire thing, and I honestly I wanna watch the new season(s) just to see what happens.

The only horse reality TV thing I have watched, is Spirit Riding Free, it's a TV series on netflix not a movie. So not the spirit that you guys are talking about, but they act sorta the same from what I have gathered, except Spirit from Riding free allows ONE girl to ride him, no one else! XD

Honestly, you reeeealy should see Spirit: Stallion Of The Cimarron it's soooooooo much better then Spirt Riding "Pee" (as it was dubbed on here a while ago XD). Netflix is great, don't get me wrong, but they really fell short with this one. "Manely" because they COMPLEATLY ditched the whole message that the movie was trying to convey *face wing*

@Dragon I would except I like NEVER watch horse things, if I am learning anything about horses, it is for on here or because I'm into a new fandom that has some horse things involved, so watching a cartoon movie about a horse doesn't really seem all that fun to me. Spirit riding free was just a TV series I watched when I was little, I wasn't really there for deep meanings, just to enjoy characters and the fact that Spirit was stubborn like me TwT

For runners up, though, I'd say my second favourite isn't a movie, but rather a tv series: Heartland.

It's a Canadian comedy/drama/romance tv show centred around horses and a dude ranch and I LOVE IT. My favourite character, Georgie, gets introduced during one of the later seasons. It's currently got 13 seasons and they're shooting the fourteenth!

One of my favourite things about the series is that every episode, apart from two-part-episodes, ends with a beautiful song. I'm gonna make a seperate post so I can rave about it

The other great thing about Heartland is it's mostly for Young Adults, and most young adult tv shows have gross stuff in it, but Heartland stays pure and wholesome (well apart from Lou and Mitch in the thirteenth season, and that one time Amy got drunk and made a move on Ty, but that's not important)... for the most part anyway.

No contest: Spirit, the horse who could never be broken RAISED me. S:SOTC is my all-time favourite movie. My heart absolutely sings when I'm reminded of him or the songs. It's such a beautiful movie, and one of the best things about it is the only talking in it is the narration, Little Creek, and the soldiers.

Dreamworks somehow took minimal speech, traditional drawing animation and a spectacular story and made it one of the most beautiful and impactful movies I have ever seen. <3

@Iceberry OOH!! DREAMER is about a young girl in Kentucky who lives on a horse farm, but, the catch is, they own no horses. Her father works as a trainer for the racetrack and cares and tends to the horses. One horse during a race has a major fall and breaks her leg, and the owner of the horse asks for it to be put down. The father and the girl, however, buy the horse, in hopes of rehabilitating it. I don't want to get into too much detail so I don't spoil it, but you should go watch it! It's literally one of my FAVORITE horse movies and I watched it a LOT when I was little. It's made by Dreamworks as well, the same people who made Spirit: Stallion of the Cimmaron.

I remember that one! My mum made me and Cam watch it when we were still young. I remember shutting it off when it got to the scene showing the battlefield littered with dead horses because I was crying. It was a great movie tho
