Ivyspring:
She sighed harshly, but nickered gently, amused, “If that’s what your worried about, then we’ll take care of it. Like I said, bringing harm to you is pointless.”
Brokenfire:
Brokenfire inspected her gaze, and then conlcluded she could see through it. ”You aren’t very deceptive, for I now know you can see through the fold. You would not have been able to point the trees out. Looks like a few more layers are need,” he snorted.
Grabbing 3 more leaves, he wrapped them around her head. ”Now, how well can you see?”
Caita, "I could only see threw it with light." she stated to him, she stepped into the small patch that she knew was there and looked around, "Only barely, not enough to point out anything small, but the bigger the tree the more a shadow is there. So I can see slightly but not enough to make out details." she stated to him in a calm nicker as she kept looking around but she could barely even see anything even in the light.
Caita, "Here this explains it better. Everything is dark, but there is a few spots with shimmers of light that I can, but their small and I can only see the bigger thing not the small details." she stated explaining what she saw threw the blindfold as best she could.
(I wasn’t sure which comment you wanted in the post, Echolake, so I just put both. It’s that alright? Cuz I can totally change it! )
Summary:
Basically, Brokenfire’s group (What should we call them???) has traded Frayan for Caita, and they have now removed Caita’s flight feathers and blindfolded her. Kifo was resurrected by Windborn (YAYAYAY!!!! :D) and.. uh... I think that’s it...?
I was wondering... Do you guys think it would be a good idea to start a roleplay I’ve been meaning to start? I just wasn’t sure, considering Challenge RP is still new....
Mossroot:
She flapped her wings harder, willing her old wings to keep carrying her. She quickly saw the sea of trees spread out before her and she landed on the outskirts. The medicine mare cantered forward deeper into the Trap, following the deer trails so she wouldn’t get lost. Soon, she found a massive oak tree adorned with Trap moss and Mossroot grabbed as many strands of moss into her teeth as she could, then turned and bolted away to return it to her herd.
Thea:
“Don’t you think you’ll need help? Certainly Stormfire will guard Caita well-shouldn’t you bring back up?” She offered kindly, bowing her head to show no disrespect.
Windborn:
"I'm going with you!" He said to Marlcloud. "And if you don't take me I will follow after you."
Estrel:
"Vividsky I might need your help with that one." He said pointing to Windborn.
Kifo:
As time passed Vida seemed to slip deeper into hibernation
Marlcloud:
Marlcloud glared at them all. ”You all are so confient in yourselves, and that is not a good thing,” she muttered. Then, louder, she announced, ”The plan is for you all to learn how to fight, yes? Then you all will stay here and learn to fight, while I shall go and rescue my daughter.”
Marlcloud glared deeply at them, daring any of them to object and face the consequences.
Iden:
She stepped down and rattled her winds with excitement. Her eyes wandered back to her wings realizing how she looked like a skinny, inexperienced warrior, but a warrior none the less. Her muscles were tensed and her hooves pointed. Her neck was arched in a powerful energetic way, known only to those looking for war. She sighed, "Of course, lets not get ahead of ourselves. Always avoid battle when possible, look for the good in everyone. But I have a feeling this battle isn't avoidable."
She nodded at Jigun to continue talking, and turned to look at Marlcloud, waiting for her input. The strong mare had only ever wanted what was best for the foals, and her wise words were always worth at least hearing.
Jigun:
He glanced at Iden and watched carefully. He blinked, mildly surprised by her words and how she demanded the attention from others, holding their gaze in her unique eyes. He smiled and nodded, “Yes, Iden is right. No more hiding. No more heartfelt speeches. Now is the time for action. We’re a herd, so let’s start acting together. Pegasi are built for war and Star foals are no exception.” He added then opened his blood red wings and arched his muscular neck.
Iden:
She stepped in. "This is no time to argue. We are all unique, from our powers and coat colors, our personalities and experiences, to our love and trust for one another. But these enemies we face, they only see us for our power. But we have more power than just our starfire. We have the power of trust, and love. And family. Yes my dad may be the one trying to kill us so if I hadn't existed yes this may not have happened but thats behind us. Our pasts have been and gone. We can't let it get in front of us when it belongs behind us. Enough of the inspirational speeches, lets get to the matter at hand. Im tired of running, its time we faced our enemies. If we are going to do that we are going to have to rely on more than just our powers. We need to learn how to fight if our herd of foals are going to have a chance against purebred pegasi, creatures made for war and battle."
Windborn:
He was shedding feathers like crazy from the stress. "I don't know!" He said.
Estrel:
"Vividgray will you please come here and hel me calm down Windborn" He asked gently
Thea:
She glared at her hooves, “I know. But, we aren’t like everyone else. We don’t get to be defined in the same way. Our powers define us. We define each other, as the Stars are connected.“ She said quietly, then changed the subject, not wishing to talk about it any longer.
“So, what’s the plan for saving Cait?.”
Estrel:
He nodded. "Yes but I don't want to be defined only by my powers. I want to be defined by who I am not who my powers make me." He said
Thea:
She glanced to Estrel, her gaze slightly annoyed but mostly accepting. She flicked her tail and ruffled her feathers, “Yes, but the whole reason why this herd exists is because we have powers. If the Starfire had disappeared when Star died, then Shadow herd wouldn’t even be a thing.“
She proclaimed, then flared her wings and lifted her chin. “Whether you like it or not, our powers define us. I’m Thea, the Healer-nothing else. We can’t run away from who we are-we’re Star foals and we should embrace it instead of trying to change it.”
Hugur nodded, "True. But we need to learn how to live as similar to how our enemies do. If you want to understand all concepts of a battle, then you must first understand the lives of your enemies, otherwise you may lose. One flaw like that could cause life or death, so I suggest that learning how to fight with our hooves and wings would be a wise decision, but then adding our own twist with our powers will make us even harder to beat." he stated looking from Estrel to Marlcloud with a strange calm gaze.
(Alright.)
(Ok trying to get the page to load for me)
Estrel:
"That's not true!" He said. "Our powers are not the only thing that makes us unique! This herd makes us unique! The things we have lived through make us unique. Our powers add but they are not all of what makes us, us." he said
Hugur had stood listening for long enough, "Plus even Star himself had to learn how to fight to defend what was his. We shouldn't be held back by our true nature, but we also shouldn't dive to deep and kill without stop." he chimed in stepping up and standing beside Whitesky, who looked over at him and studied him calmly. But Hugur tried his best to ignore it and look at Marlcloud with a calm smile.
Whitesky nodded his agreement, studying Hugur for a few minutes then he looked back at Marlcloud but didn't say anything.
Thea:
She stopped dead in her tracks, then turned around to face the mare and filly, her eyes determined and ears pricked.
“Then I’ll just heal them. Iden, your right, we should rely not only on our powers but on our physical strength. But, we were given powers for a reason, so why don’t we use them to the very extent. We’re Star foals- powers are the only thing that makes unique and we should utilize our uniqueness.”
Mossroot:
She nodded before opening her wings as far as they can go and taking off into the sky, heading quickly towards the Trap.
Marlcloud:
”Tell me then, Iden, what happens when you make a mistake? What happens, when you kill? What will you do?” She asked simply, nodding to Mossroot her approval with a worried glance at Vida.
( I’ll get a new part )
Iden:
“Marlcloud. We never said kill. There is a difference between defending our lives and killing others. And I agree, we need to rely less on our Starfire. We need to find a balance between our powers and our physical strength. I believe if we find a way to use our starfire as an advantag, and work that into our fighting skills, we could easily defend ourselves WITHOUT seriously wounding our opponent. We need to move on, some of is are nearly two year olds.
Kifo:
"Vida!" He whispered
Mossroot:
She smiled gently to Kifo, "She's not dead, Kifo, simply tired and weak. She most likely fainted." The elderly mare looked to Marlcloud. "With your permission, I will go and find her moss from the Trap then come straight back to the Interior." She nickered and extended her wings towards the sky.
