Thundertail looked at the colorful pegasus, trying to find out who she was. His eyes widened. "Iceblaze?" She looked at him relieved that he was unharmed. The smart, beady-eyed wolf noticed her disregard and dived for her throat, dangling from her neck. Iceblaze reared, trying to shake him off, but the wolf clinged on using just his jaw. Thundertail paused and noticed she was choking, so he kicked the wolf with his huge hind hooves, sending it flying. The other wolves backed down. He assumed the wolf he had just downed was the alpha. He looked at each of them and then reared his hooves shaking the ground just slightly. The wolf's ears twisted and they scattered off to the bushes. Thundertail trotted down to her sister and clenched his jaw. "Why did you come here!" He rasped. Iceblaze stood and arched her neck. "Why should I not? Clearly you don't have things under control here." She said in a bare whisper. He gazed into her eyes, which were pleading. He avoided her eyes and changed the subject. "Are you hurt?" He asked. "I'll be fine." She answered. "Now tell me, why did you run off in the first place?" He took a breath and explained. Iceblaze listened carefully to his sudden interest in the prophecy. By the time he finished she bit her lip. "Some from the same Anok, some from different Anoks." "What?" Thundertail was confused. " Maybe what you saw in Canyon Meadow was Elmwing's work." "About what I saw?" "No, about, well, you said you saw a scorched pit right?" "Right." "Maybe he was there." "In the future?" Iceblaze nickered and Thundertail laughed. "It's hard to believe how intense this is getting." She laughed. "But no. Not 'In the future' Maybe he goes to what the prophecy calls 'A different Anok'" Thundertail was confused. She explained "Let's say, the Moonheart we know here and now, in the other anok she could be... Pitch black, Piebald, or have different markings. Not to mention different names, different lores. The other Moonheart might still be at home. There could be no Elmwing. There could be just one big united herd, without Star. We can go there." "How?" He asked. "I don't know. But maybe some of the prophecy pegasi can be there." Thundertail was still confused, but he atleast knew a bit of it. He insured. "So pegasi that aren't here or was always here could look, name, and have a different history?" Iceblaze clapped her wings together. "Exactly." "So we go there." "Yup" Thundertail groaned. His brain was still puffy from what he just learned. The humiliation, the shame that his own little sister was smarter than him. Iceblaze looked at him and said. "First lets rest, then we can go." He eyed her wound under her neck and understood. The feeling made his heart flutter at the thought. They have a chance. They really have a chance to defeat Elmwing.
