Alright, so...In recap, Thunderfire has been kidnapped, rebels are going to try to take back Earth and Old Anok. Rayne has been taken to SSII and is being interrogated by Estella and Zillah. Asher wants to plan an escape with Summer and Ray.

Stepping out of a corner, she waved to the monitor who had just spoken (Amy because why not). "Hi!"
Ray
"Wait, where did River and the others go?"
Riverstone
She explained to Moontwist, then told the others, "I'm going to tell the others why we disappeared." She teleported to Earth.
Ray
"There you are" she said.
River
"I just wanted to tell you that we have gone to address a... situation involving Flameheart. What's that?" she asked, seeing the map on the table.

he looked around as he heard a twing snap, startled, vines grew up his legs

He pulled out his crystal to jump after River.
Zillah
She pulled closer to Summer. "Do you think I should go?"
Summer
"I think yes." She whispered back. "It could be handy to have another Shadow Herd member. Especially with your talents." She smiled and grabbed Zillahs hand, preparing for a leap.

"Leader of Ice Herd." He huffed a cloud of ice to prove it

She giggled.

He smirked. "Yeah, let's just hope this rescue doesn't need another."
Zillah She looked up and allowed herself a small smile.

"who is that stallion?" she asked as they came closer

He sighed. "I suppose it's really the only way to save Anok."
Summer
She let go of Zillah and punched him in the shoulder. "Way to be melodramatic there." She laughed.
River
"I agree with Summer" she said. "No matter what any of us have done, we need to work together. I think we may have a better chance of finding Rayne if we have help, but you may need to wait for me. There's... a situation in New Anok." She filled them in on the whole 'mind control' thing. "I know none of us particularly like Thunderfire except for me, but if we help rescue him, it would take away one of Flameheart's advantages over us."
River
She quickly explained what was going on to Ray, Asher, Zillah, and Summer.

he whinnied with pleasure as they slid, and his heart felt hole, as a foal his father was never around and his mother died when Mintwind was born.. he saw the path to the canyon and pointed with his muzzle "there"
(what should we have them do since skypetal is not on? keep them talking or should they run into Thunderfire and flameheart?)

He snorted, tossing his head and reared into the air. He landed hard, crashing his front hooves into the ground, creating an icey path that reached out a few feet. Next Frostwing shook a wing over the start of the ramp and pushed out a sort of ledge, or sled. "You first!" He whinnied, adding a final cushion of snow.

"Unless you don't feel up to it..." He cast a sly look at the pegasus

He sighed, only wishing he could have this connection with Ashfrost. but it was of no concern right now. "What direction are we moving?"
Icewind
"thankyou..." his heart warmed, Frostwing was like the father ICewind never had

"What about your parents? Your family? I can't seem to recall having seen any in my ranks."
Icewind
he nodded
"yes?"

"Can I ask you a question?"
Frostwing
He chewed his lip and rattled his feathers. "Ashfrost...he tries. I mean, he's really suffering because of Fireglow's death. He blames me for his mother's...untimely end. We had a big disagreement and...we both pushed away from each other. I suppose that bitterness has carried through." He hung his head, a tear falling down his cheek.
Icewind
"why is your so different from you? i mean sir, your kind and always there but when i met Ashfrost down in old anok, he was rude for no reason...

"Of course."
Icewind
"better... may i ask you a question?"
Frostwing
He looked at Icewind. "How's the pain?"
Frostwing
He nodded and moved to follow Icewind again.
Asher
He looked at Zillah and took a deep breath, trying to decide whether or not to forgive her.
Zillah
She held her breath and locked eyes with Asher. 'I know I've messed up,' she tried to tell him. "But I want to make it right."
Summer
She smiled at Zillah. "We need to work together Ash, or else we wont make any progress." She placed a hand on Zillah's shoulder.
River
"I probably should explain to Asher, Summer, and Zillah that I have to go on yet another rescue mission" she said, flicking her ear.
Frostwing
He quickly pushed Icewind's wing on his back in a folded position then quickly sealed it on tight with ice. He repeated the process with the other one. "How does that feel?" He asked once he had finished

He nodded and carefully moved his wing towards Icewinds. "This is probably going to hurt, but Ill try my best to be careful".
Frostwing
He narrowed his eyes. "Fine, but if I see you in an abnormal amount of pain, I will put them on your back and cement them with ice if need be." He threatened, then smiled. "I just don't want you in pain."
(I guess I'm trying to go with a bit of fatherly love for Icewind, maybe Frostwing sees Ice as the son he really wanted.)

She looked at Icewind. "The damage isn't that bad, but I don't think you will ever be flying again." She looked down sadly. "Unless I can figure out..." She trailed off, thinking. "You might atleast be able to glide off things, but not fly. I'm sorry. I still need to do some more work." She started off. "Take it easy and try not to move your wings too much. You might try to fold them on your back, but get help." She smiled one last time before jumping off into the air. (Idk about you but for some reason Opal's giving me some crush vibes off of Icewind XD -nevermind that I wrote her...she wrote herself!-)

"Is this place somewhere you can walk to?" He asked once Opalmist had left. "If so I can help you fold your wings so we can check it out. But only if you feel up to it." He hastily added

She appeared beside Shademoon. "The others said there was time for me to pop over here for a few minutes" she explained. "So... you think you know how to break the mind control? How?"
