That's right folks!!! I just competed in my very first horse show!!! It was a small one held at the barn with 24 contestants. (me incuded.) Events included Relay, Equitation, Ride-a-buck (hold washer under your thigh through walking and trotting etc.) Egg and Spoon, and Musical Poles. For speed events there were Barrels, Speed Barrels, Poles, and Keyhole. I didn't win any speed event ribbons (though I am pretty sure some people should have been disqualified and then I would have gotten something but whatever) but I did win some in the others!

6th for Equitation (pretty sad about that. Couldnt get my horse to trot...) 5th for I think Egg and Spoon, 3rd for Musical Poles, and 2nd for Relay. It was only after I had mounted the horse, when I realised I'd never cantered on a horse without stirrups...nearly fell off. Kinda comical. We would have had 1st except 1 girl couldn't get on and kicked the girl helping her in the head (accident).

Finally got it in on time. We have Crystalfeather looking at Windheart and Thornblaze as Thorn is trying to get the sweater off his sis. Dewberry is pulling her daughter down and Bumblewind is unhelpfully staring at them from under the tree. Pregnant Morningleaf is opening her sweater, and Hazel, Echo, Star, Shadepebble, Clawfire, and Brackentail are just arriving. :)
