Ok, this might be a little all over the place... So... Be prepared!!! (I just wrote that in Scar's evil singing voice... I'm a weirdo.)
Ok, so for a few months, my family has been looking for a house to move to since our landlords are kicking us out to either sell or move back into this house. So we've been praying and looking and hoping for a new house that will be perfect for us. We have been hoping for an at least 5 bedroom house so everyone can have their own room, also with, or close to, a pool. (I LOOOOVE swimming!!!) Also where we will be able to get a dog for Riversong's anxiety.
This past week, we found the absolute perfect house for us! 6 bedrooms, and 5 bathrooms! (That's so many, oh my gosh. ) Plus it's cheap so we can afford it! It's close to a pool, and, if we ask, we might be able to get a dog! Plus... I GET MY OWN ROOM! That was really the only thing I asked God for. I need my own room. We don't know if we got the house yet, we applied for it and are first in line, so we have a pretty good chance of getting it! One pretty awesome thing about it is that there is a jack and Jill bedroom! (That means there are two bedrooms connected by a bathroom. ) Riversong and I have been wanting that so bad!
I've been talking with my mom, and she said that if we get this house, and if I pay with my own money, then I can get... Drumroll please... A pet BIRD! Lately ive been watching Jaiden Animations videos about her pet bird Ari (it's funny because that name is so freaking close to my name. I trust you guys so I'll say that.) And i have really been wanting a pet bird!
I did some research and found a bird I would really like to get. A cockatiel! Here's a picture of one:
Look how cute he is! They're also really sweet and friendly and social and easy to take care of. Oh my gosh I want one.

YYYYYAAAAAYYYY GOOD FOR YOU!!!!! Birds are great, I wanted one for a while, but then my mom was like โdog or birdโ and then the exact next day I found out I was getting Lexi, soooo, yeah XD
But, yes, birds are loud. My friend has four. 3 where her grandparents, but then they couldnโt take care of them or something like that, so my friendโs fam took them in. Two became mates and had an egg, who is now Tarzan the Daring Crazy Birdy Bud XD
In one of our sleepovers, Cookie (bird) lived in her bedroom at the time (in a cage) and he SHRIEKED at 4am like so loud. But I donโt think we were even in bed yet XD
Does this type of bird sing?

Another update even though you guys might not be interested. Apparently these owners are really paranoid about this house, so if we get ANY pet, we'll have to pay them, like, $400. Also, if we paint anything, they'll charge us for painting the ENTIRE house. So... I don't think I can get a bird, unless I save up at least $1000 for paying the owners, buying the bird, and the bird cage, etc. So I guess I have a lot of work to do...
But, they can't charge us if we get an emotional support dog for Riversong, so that's a bonus!
Thanks guys! Update... WE GOT THE HOUSE!!! And of course I'll show you guys pictures of my bird. I'm also considering a green cheeked conure, but I have to look into that first. Here's a picture of one:
Cons, they can live for more than 30 years, and I'll need to play with them for more than 2 hours a day. Also, they might cost more. Pros, they are blue and green! (I really want that color in a bird...)
