Backstory: He was born to Jungle Herd, but after both his parents died when he was just a tiny foal, his granddam sent him off to Sun Herd, where she was sure someone could help him and that he could be safe there. A young mare there had just foaled a day before he came, and she had taken Summerfox in and under her wing the second he arrived in Sun Herd. Sootwing let Summerfox stay, and he even treated the orphan colt like his own.

Backstory: When he was born, he hated his odd white markings and blue wings, because he didn't think he looked like a Desert Herd steed. Later on though, he realized that THAT was what made him look so handsome and elegant. He still avoids crowds, and doesn't like questions, but over all he's not as shy as he used to be.

Backstory: When she was born, she didn't get the big deal. So what if she was a female black foal? On the other hoof, all of Anok seemed pretty excited or whatnot, so she decided that she may as well be special. So, she swished her tail like a boss and went with it. Deep down inside, though, her heart was wishing terrible things, and her mind was dark and fit. Her gut told her to do what she was good at most: Ignoring and being herself. Which wasn't necessarily a good thing.
