Hey, it's really not that bad. I only have about a half hour every day with none on Sundays and I keep up fine with RPs and stuff. You can still write a lot, though — just do it on paper and copy it down onto the computer later. It works for me!

All I have to say is I feel you Sunlight. My mom is the same way. I am 14, and i still dont have my own phone yet, when my older sister got her own when she was 11. Plus I am the oldest out of all my friends, and also the only one without a phone. I'm only able to go on here scattered parts of the day when she finally says I can go on the phone my twin sister and I share, which by the way, I still dont know the password to. While I was at camp last week, the subject of phones would come up and i would say, "yeah, I wish I had one" then they would stop and ask, "wait, how old are you?" I would say 14, and they would always stop, and say "oh. I'm sorry." Everytime. It's so annoying, especially when my own phone is the #1 thing I want right now.

Sorry about that rant, just wanted to say, you're not alone!

I know you might prefer typing, but you could possibly continue the next phase of your writing with old fashioned pencils and paper

Oof, that really sucks, I'm sorry. Trust me though, that doesn't mean you'll have to leave everything. 2 hours is, actually, a lot of time in my opinion. Like Embermoon said, you can divide up if you have too! My mom actually tried doing that a month or more ago... and... she didn't succeed. I was still online and stuff a lot. Don't worry.

Don't drop out of the Rps (Unless you want to) You can jump on and make one comment a day or even less. Most people will wait for you to return, and are very patient with that. You may miss a little, but they will make sure they don't go to far if your characters is present in the scene and they will catch you up.

As for writing. You should be doing it for fun. I have been writing a book for over 3 years. If it take longer then the summer, well. Don't sweat it. You will finish it eventually. Also, your parents probably have a reason. I believe in you! And I think if you time your two hours right. You should be able to enjoy that time.

And I understand that sometimes out parents seem so unfair, but they almost always have a reason, and maybe she will share it with you if you ask. Sometimes understanding makes the disappointment less...disappointing.

oof, that sucks. Did she say why she was doing it? Knowing parents, it probably so you don't spend all the time on a computer/laptop/phone/whatever lol. And you don't need to drop out of the RPs, you just won't be on them as much, which is totally fine!
