Okay, this is my third time attempting to write this out (first attempt was to rumbly; the second attempt got erased after my computer forced me to restart it), so I'm going to try to keep this as short and to the point as I can since I really hate rewriting posts over and over again.

Now, before I can get to discussing the 'mane' point of this post, I need to explain MBTI. The Myers-Brigs Type Indicator or MBTI is basically a method of explaining your personality by determining your behavioral preferences by looking at four different categories: Extraverted (E) vs. Introverted (I); Intuitive (N) vs. Observant (S); Thinking (T) vs. Feeling (F); Judging (J) vs. Perceiving (P). There are 16 different potential personality types that (in theory) everyone falls into one of, for instance: ENTJ (Extraverted, Intuitive, Thinking, Judging), ISFP (Introverted, Observant, Feeling, Perceiving), or in my case, ISTP (Introverted, Observant, Thinking, Perceiving). Anyways, one of my favorite things to do involving MBTI is looking up various TV, movie, and book characters to see what type they are, which helps me better understand those characters. This got me thinking, what about he personality types of TGH characters? So I figured, why not put my own list together for TGH characters, so here it is:

• Star - INFP Why? Star always looks for the good in situations even when there is none. There are many times where he can be a bit more reserved and quiet, but once he sets his mind to doing something, there will be nothing that can stand in his way of accomplishing that task.

• Morningleaf - ENTJ Why? In pretty much every situation that she is met with in the books, Morningleaf is always more then willing to met it head on. She is naturally a very charismatic leader, and is able to effortlessly organize those around her. Morningleaf is also very good at mastering new skills.

• Echofrost - ISFJ Why? Echofrost is one of the most loyal a supportive characters in the series. She is content to work in the background, and let others take the spot light. Often times, Echofrost can get overlooked because of her more quiet and introverted personality, however that doesn't stop her form making a stand for what she believes in.

• Bumblewind - ISFP Why? The twins are similar personality wise to each other. However, when Echofrost is more detail oriented, and reluctant to change, Bumblewind just prefers to 'go with the flow'. He is pretty much unable to hold grudges, and instead chooses to focus on what's happening in the present.

• Silvercloud/Silverlake - ISTJ Why? As a lead mare, Silvercloud/Silverlake is proven to be a very level headed and responsible leader. She is also incredibly stubborn about things once she set's her hind to it, as show by the her determination to stay to true to her promise to Lightfeather and make sure Star says alive to unite Anok.

• Thunderwing/Thundersky - ENTJ Why? Even though Morningleaf is more often compared to Silvercloud/Silverlake, I actually think that she has more in common with her sire. They are both incredibly stubborn, and are not afraid to take a stand for what they believe in. Thunderwing/Thundersky is also shown be very intolerant when it comes to bending the rules, and will insist on sticking by them until the last possible moment.

• Dewberry - ISTP Why? Dewberry is surprisingly reserved despite her constant joking around with other pegasi. She diffidently prefers to keep things to herself for as long as possible, and only let others in when there's no way to ovoid the subject. Dewberry can also loose interest in certain activities very quickly if she's not kept entertained, but once she finds something that can hold her attention, she will not stop until she has compleate mastery of the subject.

• Frostfire - ISFJ Why? Well, it may seem crazy to put Echofrost and Frostfire in the same personality category, but if you really think about, they actually have a lot in common personality wise. Frostfire has spent his life trying to live up to the high expectations that Rockwing has set for him, and while he is quite capable of serving in the role of captain, he seems a whole lot more content taking things easy and enjoying his time spent with Larksong and Starfrost.

• Shadepebble - ISFP Why? Shadepebble is very much a free thinker. She spent much of her early days being told how to think, and not being allowed to make her own conclusions about things around her, but once she broke free from her sire's controling nature, Shadepebble couldn't spread her wings fast enough. She is constantly curious about the world around her, and is very much a loyal compassionate friend.

• Brackentail - ENFJ Why? Throughout the books, rather good or bad, almost all of Brackentail's actions have been backed with the intention of putting other's needs above his own. He also, when given the chance, has proven that his a very capable leader, and will do anything to make other pegasi like him.

• Petalcloud - INTJ Why? Hate her or hate her, you got to admit that Petalcloud is a pretty driven mare. I mean, how else could she become the youngest lead mare in Anok's history? However, even though she's in such a visible position, she seems to keep much of her thoughts and opinions mostly privet, only reveling herself when necessary.

• Hazelwind - INTP Why? Hazelwind is an ever open-minded pegasus, that is always ready to look at new ideas. He is always ready to take on a challenge, and is able to stay enthusiastic and motivated even in the darkest of circumstances.
