Emberblaze to Redmoon: -he folded his wings closer to his back and yawned again. His eyes drooped even though he tried to keep them open.- "Goodnight." -he said, laying all the way down-

Redmoon to Emberblaze: She nickered. "Yeah,"

Emberblaze to Redmoon: -he yawned- "Good, because I don't think I can stay awake any longer." -he said, lowering his head-

Redmoon to Emberblaze: She nodded and smiled weakily.

Redmoon to self: She closed her eyes and quickly thought of a wish. 'I wish that I could express my feelings to Emberblaze,' She then opened her eyes feeling a bit better.

Redmoon to Emberblaze: SHe looked down and didn't answer this question. She only took a deep staggard breath as if she ahd just cried a million tears.

Emberblaze to Redmoon: -looked at her understandingly- "But, on the inside...."

Redmoon to Emberblaze: SHe nodded. "I'm fine on the outside..." SHe shivered. "The stars only fascinate me and erase my mind," She whispered.

Redmoon to Emberblaze: Her eyes half closed at this question. "Yup. As fine as i'll ever be..." She whispered and silent tear trickled down her cheek but she quickly wiped it away.

Emberblaze to Redmoon: -he sat down next to her and gazed up at the stars- "Are-Are you okay?" -he asked-

Redmoon to Emberblaze: Her eyes didn't move from the stars but her ears flicked. "yes?"

Emberblaze to Redmoon: he wasn't really asleep. Truthfully, he wanted to look at the stars. He saw Redmoon a small distance away and decided to go make sure she's okay. He quietly and gingerly stood up and walked toward her. It was almost pitch black so he used his hearing and smell to reach her. When he got closer he whispered to her "Redmoon?" -he sat down next to her- "Are you alright?" he whispered again

Redmoon to self: She snuck out of the cave that night feeling better and gazed up at the stars. She sat down and her breathing was the only sound she heard other than the beautiful circkets and bull-frogs.

Magicpetal to herself: -Starsummer greeted her with a friendly whinny and she wanted to talk to her about what had happened, but Magicpetal was to tired to talk.- "I'll answer any questions you have tomorrow. Right now, I just want to go to sleep." -she said, laying down next to her brother. She pulled Horizongold's feather out from under the rock and used it as some sort of pillow. The last thing she remembered was welcoming the darkness of sleep and feeling the softness of Horizongold's feather under her head.-

Magicpetal to herself: -she suddenly felt a wave of exhaustion crash into her like a heavy breeze. She yawned and stretched her wings. She looked around for Starsummer and spotted her mother dozing under a tree with Goldenstream. Emberblaze was walking toward Starsummer, looking equally tired. She turned to Horizongold- "I'm gonna get some rest. It's been a long day." -she said, her eyes and wings drooping-

Horizongold: He walked forward with her companionably, not sure where they should be going. Cloudroot was taking Redmoon into the den for more treatment and Shadowfire was going back to his mate, Oceangold. He wasn't sure where to go but didn't want to leave.

Magicpetal to Horizongold and Shadowfire: "Then, why are you standing like that?" -she asked, shuffling her feet-

Horizongold: "What? Nothing," he lied.

Bronzewing to Mistcloud: No, he is not my brother. My mate Breezecloud has a sister, Oceangold, and Shadowfire is her mate. Why?"

Honeyfall to Breezecloud:

Honeyfall and Breezecloud worked together to kill the puma that had showed up at the medicine mare's den. Ending it just before the others arrived with Redmoon.

Magicpetal to Horizongold: -in the very far distance, she heard the faint sound of hooves breaking bone. She gasped quietly and shuddered. She walked backward toward Emberblaze, who was also staring intently at the sunset-

Horizongold grinned at Magicpetal's reaction but couldn't resist doing the same as he looked at the sunset.

For the adults, the sunset meant something different. "We need to get back before nightfall," Shadowfire said. Cloudroot nodded. "Can you walk?" she asked Redmoon. "And if not, can you fly? We need to get back."

Back in the clearing, Bronzewing glanced up at the pastel sky but ignored it. "It's time," he said. "Fly straight and find your rest, Blazefire." With that said, he struck the deathblow.

Magicpetal to Horizongold: -she turned away from him and noticed that the sun was setting, casting pink, gold, blue, orange and many other colors and lights across the waterfall and valley. She was speechless as she watched the gorgeous sunset.- "Woaaaahh....." -she said, almost to soft to be understood-

Magicpetal to Horizongold: -she stared at him for a few seconds her mouth gawked open. Once his words sank in, she closed her mouth and smiled sheepishly.-
