Hey everyone, I have an announcement that pertains to the title of this post. I got a dog! His name is Chester and he's a bit taller and leaner than a Labrador Retriever. He's many varied shades of brown, the darkest being on his back and the palest around his ears and back legs. He has a white patch on his chest and several white hairs on and near his paws. We adopted him from the Humane Society this Tuesday, the 25th. He is around a year old and originally came from Puerto Rico.
Speaking of which, the shelter near me that we adopted Chester from is in "turbulent financial water". Basically, they need money. It would mean a lot to me if you could convince your parents to donate. The website is here: http://hswa.org/donate-now-waterville-humane-society-maine/
Anyway, the third and final reason I created this post is to ask you guys about your pets! What pets do you have, if any? What breeds are they?
SO FURRILY ADORBS
Just look at these cute little balls of ridiculousness -
I'm on team border collie!
though my favorite is golden retriever.
I love Aussie's and the Border Collie used to be my favorite. Husky as the general breed is my favorite now though not necessarily owning one, haha. I especially love mixed dog breeds!
Look at this Shiba Inu+Siberian Husky+Akita+German Shepard!
I THINK ITS ADORABLE!
A really good breed is Aussie/Large Munsterlander. Til, my dog, is that breed and is very loving, the breed makes good bird dogs to.
What's with people wanting huskies? Border collie are seriously the best
Would have never guessed the Alaskan Malamute! My dream dog: Gerberian Shepsky! German Shepard+Siberian Husky! I can kinda see all the other breeds in there.
We got two rabbits from the humane society. Their names were cotton and aloha. sisters. We sold them to a family in gilroy a few months after we got them. And, wow, good for you, Flamefrost!
woah so many!
Oh! I forgot to add the list of his breeds. There's a website that sells dog DNA kits for a bit under 200 bucks called EmbarkVet.com and we used their services to find out his breed mixture.
Congratulations! That's awesome! He's so cute! I've always wanted a dog. =)
aww that picture is adorable!
He’s adorable Flamefrost! Congratulations! I have two cats, and they’re half-cousins half-aunt-and-nephew. The female is named Pumkin, and she’s completely black except for a few white hairs under her chin, and she’s 4 this year. The male is named Prince Boo Magoo Cute As A Button (do not ask) and he is completely black with a white triangle under his chin. He is 3. We also have a Bernese Mountain dog, named Chewbacca/Chewie, and he’s 2.
Awww, he looks so happy
Yeah. But here is the long-awaited picture!
When pets die it is truly the worst
xD
And it is very sad..
xD Tucker is actually the horse on my profile pic
awww its really sad when any animal dies really. including fish.
OMG WAY NO FAIR XD!!!
I'm sorry about Mittens. But YOU HAVE HORSES?!?!! No fair.
Aw!! He sounds so cute!
I have a 12-year-old golden retriver named Jessie, and 3 cats (used to be 4, our female Mittens died last month). Coco (he’s black with a stump tail), and Whiskers (gray with a normal tail). They were Mitten’s brothers and about a year old. And finally Oreo, a black-and-white and very whiny female. She’s about 6 years old.
And if you want to include our 3 horses as “pets” they are Trigger, Tucker, and Deputy.
LOL "We also have 9 badly behaved chickens" I had 6 chickens, they died. I also had two birds but the cats killed them.
That's awesome Flamefrost! I bet your having tons of fun with Chester.
I have a 5 year-old tricolored border collie named Chase. My family adopted him from a junk yard/'farm' about 4 years ago when he was about 6 months old. We also have 9 badly behaved chickens, but they're not really pets
a mixed blue heeler+labrador retriever maybe?
OMG YOU GOTA SHOW US A PIC SOMETIME! CONGRATZIO! Also, I have a big fat american shorthair cat/tom named Misty with a stripe/star, white paw mittens, a black dot on his stomach and a smoky misty looking fur, the same as dark on the back etc. he is so friendly! A thin, energetic 2/3 Year old she-cat with huge shaped eyes, stripes and a few dots, a lighter dark grey, and a delicate head. shes a little funny round shaped in the stomach. white on the stomach and her name is Athena. last one is Callua, a tall, fragile delicate thin she-cat with mostly patchy white and light grey fur. shes a little scaredy cat! her paws are ginourmas but she was a little underfed so that makes sense. Misty and callua are about 5-6 years old, Athena 3. Misty came from a barn, reallyt needing a vet checkup, almost died. Callua came from the shelter with stitches on her stomach. Athena came from petsmart all playful and lonely at 1 years old
WAIT. Does Chester have a bobbed tail and look like he has some blue in him?
And that's awesome Flamefrost!!!
