Junetree: So, Mapleglade, where do you think your brother went?

Mapleglade: I think he went to a place where he can have time alone, it's near a beach by the ocean. Follow me -starts flying to the north-

Junetree: -follows- Why is our over-stallion so cowardly of ONE mare? No offense.

Mapleglade: -shrugs- I don't know... Really I don't. I thought he liked Wispiflower, but I don't think it's just her he would act around. Maybe he is just embarrassed?

Junetree: I didn't know that he could get embarrassed! How far away is this beach again?

Mapleglade: When it comes to mares he definitely is.. and it should only be a few minutes away

Mapleglade: -flies up into the clouds and looks to the north, and sees a small white figure flying close to the ground- I think I see him, and he's heading north

Junetree: So, what's your plan exactly?

Mapleglade: Well...

-turns to look at her- We have to convince him someway.. maybe you can tell him how Wispiflower feels and we'll go on from there

Junetree: Okey! I know everything about how she feels about him because I have a photographical memory.

Mapleglade: -snorts- Anyways, lets fly faster and catch up to him.

Junetree: Sounds like a plan!

Mapleglade: -starts to pick up speed and flies closer to the ground-

Junetree: -follows- I think I see him!

Mapleglade: -looks down- Me too! Let's go get him

Mapleglade: -picks up speed and dives towards him-

Junetree: So, how exactly are we gonna bring him back? By force or by will?

Mapleglade: That depends. If he wants to, then he'll come. If not, then we'll force him.

Junetree: I doubt he'll want to come back so it may have to be by force.

Mapleglade: -sighs- We might have too.

Mapleglade: -dives towards land and speeds up, quickly catching up to Windwing-

Junetree: -follows close behind ready for a fight to bring him back to Wispiflower-

Mapleglade: -sees Windwing clearly now, who is flying slowly-

-slows down a bit and whispers to Junetree- Let's stay a bit behind, and stay quiet so he doesn't hear us. Once he lands, we will sneak up on him, then grab his wings so he can't fly away. Then we'll talk to him about Wispiflower.

Junetree: Sounds good. -starts to creep up on Windwing with noiseless wings-

Mapleglade: -looks ahead and whispers- We are almost there. See that cliff? It's right below it

Junetree: Wait, where does the cliff fit in with our plan?

Mapleglade: Windwing's favorite spot where he likes to go to alone is below that cliff. There's a cave, and the only way I know where it is because I followed him one time

Junetree: Ohhh. Why do you think he likes it so much down there? I don't see anything special about it.

Mapleglade: -shrugs- Maybe he likes being alone?

Junetree: That would make sense.

Mapleglade: -nods and watches as Windwing drops down the cliff- There he goes! Let's go faster

Mapleglade: -dives down the cliff and watches Windwing walk into the cave-

Junetree: Right behind you!

Mapleglade: -lands outside the cave and walks in, and whispers to Junetree- I don't see him right now, but I think the cave goes in pretty deep, follow me

Junetree: Ok, no problem. -looks in- Wow, it really goes deep!

Mapleglade: Yeah it does -walks deeper into a cave, and hears snorting from a different Pegasus- -perks ears- Do you hear that?

Junetree: Yeah I hear it. Who is that?

Mapleglade: I don't know.. let's go see -walks deeper and stops, hearing voices-

Junetree: -listens hard and starts hearing what the voices are saying-

Mapleglade: -walks a little deeper and turns a corner, and sees Windwing with a mare- -thinks- Who. Is. That?

Junetree: -also wonders- who in the world is that?

Mapleglade: -looks closely, noticing a bay mare with dark wings-

-perks ears and thinks- She looks familiar....

Junetree: You know her?

Mapleglade: -shakes head- But she looks very familiar

Mapleglade: Wait, I know where I have seen her! I saw her with Windwing once, they were on a flight together.

Junetree: WHEN?!?!

Mapleglade: Not long ago, only about a week -stomps hoof, suddenly realizing it- Windwing better not choose her as his mare.

Mapleglade: -perks ears, trying to listen to the conversation-

Windwing: -paws the ground nervously- I don't know, Mintbreeze.. I just don't feel the same anymore.

Mintbreeze: -pins ears- You know I'm the right one.

Junetree: IS SHE FLIRTING WITH WISPIFLOWER'S WINDWING?!?!!!!

Mapleglade: -puts wing over Junetree's mouth- -whispers- Shh!!!

Junetree: -muffle-yells- BUT!

Mapleglade: -pins ears and listens more-

Windwing: -stays silent-

Mintbreeze: -brushes Windwing's wing with hers- I'll give you time. But I just want you to know, I'll be waiting.

-turns around and starts to walk out-

Mapleglade: yes I know I don't like it either! -notices Mintbreeze starting to walk out- Here she comes hide!

Junetree: -runs for the entrance- What do we do? She'll see us!

Mapleglade: -quickly flies out- Here! -grabs her wing with mouth and runs behind some bushes-

Coperpool: -looks around- Shouldn't Junetree and Mapleglade be back by now?

Wispiflower: I'm starting to get a little worried to.

Coperpool: I'm gonna follow their feather trail. -flies in direction of cliff-

Junetree: -looks towards cave- Do you think she saw us?

Mapleglade: -watches as the mare trots out and flies away- Doesn't look like it. But let's quickly fly up onto the cliff then fly back down and confront Windwing, that way he'll hopefully think that we just got here

Coperpool: -follows trail down cliff and to cave- What now?

Mapleglade: -hears pegasi voices in the distance- It's Copperpool and Wispiflower. We can't tell Wispiflower about Mintbreeze YET, it'll hurt her.

Mapleglade: -flies up onto cliff and watches the stallion walk down-

(only Coperpool came, Cass accidentally made one little mistake by thinking Wispiflower came.)

Mapleglade: -watches as Coperpool walks down the cliff some more-

Junetree: -canters over to her bro- Hey, what are you doing here?

Coperpool: Wispiflower and I were getting worried about you guys, so I was sent to find you.

Mapleglade: -flies over- Hey Coperpool

Mapleglade: I'm gonna go get Windwing -flies down to the cave, and walks inside spotting Windwing staring at the ground-

Mapleglade: -stands still for a bit then walks up to him- Is there something wrong?

Junetree: -whispers- Keep talking Mapleglade, it's good.

Mapleglade: -nods- -walks up to him- Who was that walking out of the cave when I flew here? -waits for an answer-

Windwing: -mumbles- A mare named Mintbreeze.

Mapleglade: Who is she?

Windwing: -turns around- Someone who wants to be my mare, and yes, I did like her. But now I'm not sure. But I can tell she doesn't want the answer to be no.

Mapleglade: -is surprised that he answered quickly-

Junetree: THEN SAY NO! -instantly feels good about saying it-

Windwing: -sees Junetree- What are you doing here?

Coperpool: -silently laughs at Junetree-

Junetree: I'm here with your bro.

Windwing: -looks at her and nods- I was going to say no, but i decided to wait. Hopefully she will find someone else and forget about me. -looks around- Is Wispiflower here?

Junetree: -sees Coperpool laughing- Don't laugh at me! And no, she is not with us, you diched her so she felt uncomfortable coming.

Windwing: -eyes widen- She's alone?! Something could happen to her!

Junetree: Someone should go SAY SORRY TO HER so that someone is with her, don't ya' think?

Coperpool: You're being dramatic today sis.

Junetree: Well you -bickers-

Coperpool: -bickers-

Mapleglade: -looks at Windwing- You hurt her. And why did you ditch her? She didn't deserve that.

Windwing: Because I remember that I had to meet Mistbreeze.

Junetree: -stops bickering- AND WHY DID SHE WANT TO MEET YOU?!?!!!!

Windwing: -paws ground- She wanted to know if I was going to have her be my mare or not. But I decided that I didn't want to but she left before I could say it.

Junetree: Darn you!

Mapleglade: -looks at Junetree- We, uh, actually saw you talking with her. So we know the truth. She gave you time.

Junetree: ...

Mapleglade: you had plenty of time to say that you didn't want to be with her

Junetree: I know!! WHY MUST YOU DRAG TIME!!!!?

Coperpool: Drama, drama, drama.

Junetree: -gives him the stink eye-

Windwing: -stomps hoof- I'll deal with it later. Let's go get Wispiflower. -runs out cave and flies away-

Mapleglade: -sits on haunches and watches Windwing fly away- We should let him go by himself

Junetree: Yeah. And while we're by the shore why don't we have a bath?

Mapleglade: -nickers-I could use one -runs out and dives into the water-

(Mean while.)

Wispiflower: -sees pegasus flying towards her- Who is that?

Windwing: -flies as fast as possible, and quickly spots Wispiflower-

Windwing: -gives a soft neigh and dives towards the ground-

Wispiflower: -recognized the pegasus as Windwing- -thinks to self- I wonder why he came back? I thought he hated me!

Windwing: -lands in front of Wispiflower- Are you okay?

Wispiflower: -looks at him confusedly- Um, yeah, I'm fine..

Windwing: -looks at the ground- No, I mean are you really ok? After what I said..

Wispiflower: -thinks to self- Why does he care?

Wispiflower: Umm.. -doesn't know what to say-

Windwing: -walks up to her and puts head against hers-

Wispiflower: -tenses, then relaxes- No, I guess I'm not ok, you kinda hert my feelings when you flew away like that..

Windwing: -sighs- I know, I just felt awkward.

Wispiflower: -thinks to self- What should I say now?

Windwing: -decides not to tell her about Mintbreeze yet-

Windwing: -steps back- Hey, I'm sorry. For everything.

Wispiflower: It's ok, it's hard not to forgive you. -tucks her head under his neck-

Windwing: -lays wing over her back and nickers softly-

Windwing: -looks up and notices a brown Pegasus flying towards them-

Wispiflower: -doesn't notice pegasus-

Windwing: -steps back but hoof lands on a rock and loses balance, falling over-

Wispiflower: -laughs silently-(😂)

Windwing: -snorts and gets up, then looks at the sky- Um... be right back.. stay here -flies up into the sky towards the Pegasus-

Wispiflower: Where are you going?

Windwing: Oh um.. I have to check something -flies away quickly and towards the Pegasus-

Wispiflower: -wonders to self- I wonder what that was about?

Windwing: -quickly realizes the Pegasus is Mintbreeze- -snorts and flies up to her-

(Mean while)

Junetree: -splashes Mapleglade and her brother one last time- Let's head back now.

Mapleglade: -nickers and splashes back- Yeah we should

Coperpool: -starts trudging out of water-

Mapleglade: -trots out and shakes water off coat and feathers, drenching every one again-

Junetree: Hey!

Mapleglade: -nickers-

Junetree: -drenches him back-

Mapleglade: -nickers and rams Junetree slightly making her fall into the shallow water-

-turns and rams Coperpool also-

Junetree and Coperpool: -get out of water and chase him into the water-

Mapleglade: -runs into the water nickering excitedly-

Mapleglade: -stops and turns, rearing, and lands front hooves in the water with a huge splash drenching everyone again-

Coperpool: -runs out of range laughing- I've had enough fun for today, let's get back to Wispi.

Mapleglade: -nickers- Yeah let's go

Wispiflower: -sees her friends flying toward her- -flies to them- You're back!

Mapleglade: Yep! -looks around- Where's Windwing?

Wispiflower: He's over there with that pegasus. -points with wing-

Windwing: -snorts and looks and Mintbreeze- What are you doing here?

Mapleglade: -looks up and recognizes the mare from earlier-

-looks at Junetree at points at the Pegasus-

Junetree: -gasps-

-whispers to Mapleglade-What's she doing here?

Mintbreeze: I'm here because I want to hear a yes. You know you can't say no. -bats eyelashes and circles around Windwing-

Windwing: -pins ears- I can say no.

Mapleglade: -whispers back- I don't know but I don't like this..

Junetree: Me neither, do you think she's trying to get him to ask her to be his mate?

Mapleglade: -snorts- Probably. -looks at Wispiflower and Coperpool- Be right back -gestures to Junetree to follow him- -whispers- Come with me

Junetree: Ok -follows him-

Mapleglade: -leads Junetree into a grove of trees- -talks in regular voice now- I think Mintbreeze, that mare, does want to be Windwing's mate like you said. But I'm afraid Windwing might give in and say yes, leaving Wispiflower alone. We don't even know if Windwing talked to her or not

Junetree: Good point.. -thinks- Should we spy on your bro again to make sure that he doesn't do anything stupid?

Mapleglade: May as well

Coperpool: -comes over- I'm gonna stay with Wispiflower this time.

Junetree: Ok with me. Hey Rainblaze, wanna join us?

Rainblaze: -trots over- Sure!

Mapleglade: I'll go talk to Windwing now -starts to fly up to Windwing-

Mintbreeze: Just say yes already Windwing. I know you want to. -goes up to Windwing and nuzzles him-

Windwing: -snorts and moves away- What if I said I wanted to choose someone else as the lead mare?

Mapleglade: -flies up to Windwing- Who is this?

Windwing: Som-

Mintbreeze: His future lead mare

Wispiflower: So Coperpool, how'd your 'spying' go?

Coperpool: Good, I saw that mare with Windwing there. -realizes mistake- Wispiflower: What?

Coperpool: -tells everything because he has no choice-

Mapleglade: -snorts- I would like to see if that happens.

Mintbreeze: -looks at Windwing with desperate eyes- You know I want to be your mare, why not give in?

Rainblaze: I don't know this mare, but I think she doesn't deserve Windwing

Rainblaze: Hey Wispiflower! You should go confront that mare

Junetree: YES!!! Get the popcorn.

Rainblaze: -nickers and rushes to go get some- -yells over shoulder- Go Wispi go!!!

Wispiflower: -agrees and flies to the mare to confront her-

Mapleglade: -looks down to see Wispiflower flying to them- -smiles and looks at Windwing pointing to her-

Wispiflower: -flies in front of Mintbreeze- Who do you think you are?

Mintbreeze: -turns to look at the mare- Im Windwing's future mare. What are you doing here? Who are you?

Mapleglade: -flies down to Rainblaze and grabs a popcorn bucket and flies back up-

Wispiflower: My name is Wispiflower, I'm the reason that Windwing is hesitating. -looks down at Junetree for help-

Windwing: -looks at Mintbreeze- I've made up my mind. I-

Mintbreeze: Yes you will be my mate! -bolts up u

Wispiflower: -thinks that's what he meant- -goes back to Junetree for support-

Windwing: -snorts and flies down to Wispiflower-

Mapleglade: -thinks to self- I hope he means he wants Wispiflower to be his mare....

Junetree: -reads his thoughts- I do to.

-turns to her Wispiflower- I really don't think that's what he was going to say, or else why would he be coming back? -points to Windwing who was coming

Windwing: -lands next to Wispiflower breathing in her scent- I don't know what to do with that mare..

Wispiflower: Oh I think you know exactly what you wanna do. -flies away-

Junetree: I'll go get her. Don't worry, she'll come around.

Windwing: -looks up and Wispiflower then to Junetree- -sighs- No I'll go get her -bursts into a gallop and flies into the sky chasing after her-

Mapleglade: -snorts- Bout time he figured out that she was meant for him.

Junetree: GET ER' WINDWING!!!

Coperpool: Don't be so loud.

Wispiflower: -feels tears coming as she flies away- -looks back and sees Windwing coming- -yells back with sob in voice- What do you want?

Windwing: -looks at her in confusion- What's wrong?

Mapleglade: -watches Windwing chase after Wispiflower, nickering-

Windwing: -looks down at them and nickered softly-

Windwing: -looks at her- That I don't want to be her mate.
