Brackenpebble isn't a bad ship(I've even thought about it and considered it) I just think it would be too sudden. There's no mentions of Brackentail ever having eyes for Shadepebble or liking he, so I would be very surprised if he got with Shadpebble.

I'm not saying it couldn't happen(there's a possibility) I'm just not a fan of the ship XD

I want to ship Brackentail but it just doesn't work. Star is legit perfect for Morningleaf. They have perfect personalities for each other and they have been through so much that it would be wrong for them not to end up with each other. Something about Brackentail's soft kind heart, pulls him to Shadepebble. Out of the characters, I ship Brackenpebble. But To be honest. I feel there isnt a TGH character that has been introduced yet that belongs with Brackentail. I feel like someone Strong but not a full leader. Someone who is determined to help others. Ok thinking about this, I kinda ship Brackenleaf x Shysong or Brackensong.

You lost me in the beginning lol I personally think Bumblewind and Dewberry are perfect. And even before they got together, I just liked their relationship and it never dawned on me that they were more siblings. It felt like they were really close friends who had the very high potential to be a lot more.

But, then you gained my interest in the second part XDD I don't think I said the once a betrayer, always a betrayer,(I think maybe Dragon or one of the really old members said it) but I did say Once a destroyer, always a destroyer in concern to Nightwing. And yeah, I agree. Brackentail can't compete with Star's relationship with Morningleaf and I just don't see Brackentail and Echofrost. *MY OPINION*

I actually do like Brackentail though. At first I hated him, but as I reread the books and got little older, I began to understand him more and I realize that he had good intentions. He was a weanling (or almost a yearling) when he betrayed the herd. That's young! If he was older, he might have made different decisions and actions. But, I love his character. I love his arc and how he's now a trusted herd member.

I believe that Shadepebble and Bumblewind were meant for one another. Awhile ago, my sister and I brought up to Mrs. Alvarez how Bumblewind and Dewberry kind of had a more "sibling" relationship and while she agreed with us and said that if she were to have Bumblewind live, he may have ended up with someone other than Dewberry (don't quote me on this, it was like a year or more ago), that's just what happened in this particular timeline. Where was I going with this? Oh yeah. So, I definitely see Shadepebble with him (Bumblewind), and well, Brackentail is like another book character *cough* (Fitzroy Vacker) *cough*. I just don't like him.

I'm not sure who started it on here, but someone said "Once a betrayer, always a betrayer". I agree.

In conclusion, while some of you have forgiven him and even ship him with the main pegasi (example: Echofrost and Morningleaf), I think he will end up with a more minor character or someone Mrs. Alvarez has not yet mentioned (if she continues with TGH series).

(Uhhhhh, if you read all that, my only request is this: please don't kill me now. 😂 Sorry, I know a lot of you really like him.)

Brackenpebble is cute. But, there was no mention of them actually liking one another. Yes, they did go on a mission together with Morningleaf, but they never actually talked or showed any sorts of feeling toward each other throughout the rest of the series.

I actually would really love to see Brackenpebble happening. both of them need a special somebody. Clawfire is too old for Shadepebble; I agree about the mentor/apprentice or father/daughter influence. I think Brackentail and Shadepebble would be cute.

I have mixed feelings about Brackentail. He has a big character arc and he's gone through life. But, I just don't....love(is that the word) him. He just can't compete with Star. I'm trying to explain this in a way that's not totally weird. He's just not one of my favorite characters. I was a Clawpebble shipper and I still kinda am, but I just don't see them together. It goes against everything. Like SHADEPEBBLE(the most amazing, inspiring, naive pink winged runt the I've ever met) being together with BRACKENTAIL(the one who has almost a murderer/traitor backstory and who is kinda corny tbh). I just legit CANT see it. But, then again, anything is possible.

Honestly, I don't think you can say Brackentail is entirely good OR entirely bad. He's all gray, kind of like Severus Snape from the Harry Potter series. He isn't all good, because he bullied Star and made plans with Rockwing to wipe out his own herd. He isn't all bad, because he apologized to Echofrost and helped so much with digging the tunnel for Storm Herd. I'm not sure what to think of him, but I definitely know that Brackenleaf should NOT happen.
