Nightriver blinked groggily... Where was she? What happened to her? She flexed her winged, then cried out in pain, Big mistake, mental note: Don't. Move .Wings.

"Guys....? What happened?" Darksun and Jadeleaf rushed to her side, each supporting her. "Guys?" She whispered faintly,

"Shhh, it's alright. Be quiet."

"What happened Darksun? I can't remember anything....." Darksun and Jadeleaf shared a glance,

"Darksun? Jadeleaf?" The two mares anxiously shed feathers. She was growing more and more suspicious of them by the second. "If you won't tell me, then I will go ask Graysky." She turned to go look for the herd leader but was met with a large dappled white stallion.

"Graysky? I don't think so little filly."

"Who are you?" She demanded, taking up a defensive posture.

The stallion leaned in and exhaled into her face, "Me? I'm Icesky. The overstallion of Arctic Herd. And you, little filly. Are my prisoner."

"What?!" She was unable to hold back the cry from her mouth. The stallion grinned evilly and her vision went red at the sides. With a rear she charged at the stallion,

"Nightriver! Nightriver don't!" Jadeleaf and Darksun whinnied, but there was no way she was about to stop. She met the stallion with another rear and stomped on the ground in front of him angrily. She knew better then to challenge, or fight him, but she hoped that gave him a fright even if it was just a small one. She trotted back to her friends and said out loud to them,

"Tell me what happened. Did anyone else get captured?"

"Sadly, yes. Shadestripe, Smokeglade, Riverfrost and Flamewing. All of them are here too. They're over there." Darksun informed, pointing to the colts. Nightriver stretched out her wings to fly to them but at the last moment, she remembered about her injuries. Oh yeah.... I need to be more careful. Walking instead she met the colts with a sad smile,

"You guys got captured too?"

"Sadly, yes we did Nightriver." Then Riverfrost paused, "What happened to your wings?" He exclaimed in shock, it was only then that she noticed that they were dragging along the frosty ground.

"Oh... well the stallion that captured us broke them." The colts looked at her sympathetically,

"I'm sorry. Do they hurt?" He asked,

"Only when I move them, if I let them hang like this, they hurt less." She answered with a shrug.

"Listen, we were thinking of a plan to get out here, do you have any ideas?" Flamewing whispered, Nightriver tilted her head at him.

"Come to think of it..... Yeah, I think I do."
