Shadepebble darted through the clouds, scattering white puffy cloud fuzz. Behind her was her best friend, Clawstone. Clawstone was fast but not as fast as Brackentail, who was flying in front of Shadepebble. As the three zipped through the pink and blue sky, clouds were scattered, soaking the small group of friends. Shadepebble's glinting coat was covered in water, or cloud sweat, as Morningleaf said. Turning to Clawstone, she whispered to the white stallion. "Let's team up and smash into Brackentail. Want to?" Clawfire grinned. The scar running across his handsome face made him look mean, but to Shadepebble, his warm smile was the only influence on her. Shadepebble watched as the former captain stretched his wings even farther and rammed into Brackentail, Shadepebble right by his side. Laughing, the big brown colt turned on Shadepebble, his teeth bared playfully. Clawfire lunged at Brackentail, and they fought over the little filly playfully. "Your majesty, are you alright, madam?" Brackentail said in a fancy voice. "No, dear sir, I am not!" Shadepebble nickered, playing along. Clawfire flapped his bluish-gray wings towards Shadepebble. Her pink feathers exploded onto the ground as the big stallion rammed into her and the orange-feathered colt, laughing uncontrollably. Suddenly, Star and Morningleaf flew towards the playing steeds and spoke.
