Winterwing got up and grabbed a large stick. He threw it at Thunderfrost, trying to scare him away. Thunderfrost’s eyes rolled back in his head, and he saw Starwing standing with a solid black stallion. “Hello?” he asked.
“Hello, Thunderfrost,” said Nightwing. Thunderfrost’s mouth opened but no words nor starfire came out. “Anyway, we’ve called you here because there is an issue down in Anok. If you didn’t know, there is a group of rebels in your herd. Their names are Brightsun, Stormblaze, and Sunfire.” said Starwing. Nightwing nodded. “I feel as if this is the fault of Stormheart. She is my great great grandfilly. Stormheart took after me, when I was alive.” he said, looking at Starwing sadly. Starwing nodded. “Watch out, Thunderfrost. Keep your siblings safe, please. They are the. . . bridge.” he said.
“Wait, so Mom is the great great great grandfilly of you?!” Thunderfrost asked Nightwing, shocked. Nightwing nodded. “You must return home now. Tell your siblings the same things we’ve said to you.”
Thunderfrost nodded. The world snapped into focus, causing him to stumble backward.
“Are you alright, Thunderfrost?” asked Nightshade.
“No. . . I’m not. . . I just found out something big about your family,”
“What is it?”
“Do you really want to know?”
“Just tell me, already!”
“Fine. Your great great great grandfather is Nightwing.”
“As in The Destroyer?!”
“Yes. Don’t worry, though, he told me that he changed.”
Nightshade stared on in shock. “I. . . don’t quite know how to feel about that.” she said to Thunderfrost. Springsky barreled into her. “Sorry!” she said. “We have an important meeting, apparently.” Nightshade got up, looking skeptical.
“With whom?” she asked.
“Don’t know,”
“Is nobody suspicious of this?! We have a meeting with a random pegasus that we don’t know!”
“True. . . but still, we should go. We have our powers to protect us, if needed.”
Thunderfrost sighed. “Okay, enough! We’ll go!” he said. Nightshade growled, and the translucent spirit of Nightwing appeared. “Nightshade, enough. Stop being rude to your siblings. Protect them, as you never know when or where your siblings will fall.”
The rebels are the pegasi who hate the black foals. They assembled as soon as they were born. They usually meet deep in the trap, though, so that's why we never see them till now.
