Bloodwing desided to rest. He put a shield of silver fire around Shiverstar and then fell asleep.

Bloodmoon flew through the darkening sky, he was on a small island where it grew dark much faster than it did in Anok. He saw one of the twin stars in the sky pulse and he flew into the sky. The star grew and drew him in, its light filled him and roared through him. After a minute he floated back down to the ground, his black coat shimmering and his eyes flashing. But the second the sparkles disapeared he felt a spike of evil fill him, "Now I can get all of those bratty foals back for what they did to me!" He snarled, "And from now on my name is Bloodwing!" His hooves glowed silver and so did his eyes, he exploded a tree and then another, enjoying the power it gave him. "I WILL RULE ALL OF THE HERDS!" He roared.

Bloodwing woke up from reliving when he got his powers. He smiled and fell back to sleep again.

Nightsong stood, looking up in fear at the now dark sky. It was her birthday, her first birthday to be exact. "Happy birthday to me." She said bitterly. She noticed that for the first time since she was

born that the second star was no longer there, it was just the big pulsing star. She flew toward it wondering what it was. Suddenly it opened up and she flew inside. She saw the faces of all the black foals that came before her. She saw Star and Morningstar and all the others, "I'm scared. I don't know what to do." She called to them.

"I know you're scared, I was too. But like my mother said you have to trust in yourself that you are the healer." Star said.

"I know that this is scary but with the help of friends you'll make it through." Morningstar said.

"Thank you!" Nightsong called as she flew through the other side of the star and into pitch darkness. She looked around and realized that she glowed, her hooves and eyes and body shimmered with golden light, and she felt much much stronger.
