Riversun was Morningmist’s best friend. Riversun had always felt like an outsider to the herd. With a father like Nightwing, who wouldn’t?

Riversun was living with River Herd now. When Riversun had been taken to live with the pegasi who did not believe in Star, she had been not old enough to make decisions for herself.

As Riversun grew up, her opinions changed and she was allowed to return. Everyone hated Riversun except for Morningmist.

Morningmist found Riversun flying around Crabwing’s Bay.

“Hey Riversun,” Morningmist neighed, “I need your help!” Riversun landed and cleaned the sand from her feathers.

“What for?” Riversun asked with a sparkle in her eye.

“My mom told me this story about Star! She said that Star did something at the Spy Tree before he left! We might be able to find out where he went!” Riversun cringed at the mention of Star.

“That is a long journey Morningmist! I might be a yearling, but you have only just been weaned!” Riversun responded.

“Please! It would mean a lot to me!” Morningmist pleaded.

“Fine!” Riversun snorted. “I hope I don’t regret it!”

“Let’s go in two days!” Morningmist neighed.

Suddenly, a bush moved and out came a pegasi. Riversun stepped in front of Morningmist.

“Who are you?” Riversun asked

“My name is Starfrost.” said the pegasus...
