OH, BOY!!! I just had an idea! I was reading @Riverglade's story, Split, and I read @Stormsun's story, Legends Carved on Trees, a few days ago, and WHILE reading Split, an idea came to me! Over the past week, I've been designing IN MY HEAD a Desert Herd OC for a story I want to write SET in the time period of the books, MAYBE extending afterwards!! My idea is, WHAT if we had this sort of connected universe where we kinda detailed the life of a respective herd DURING the time of the Series (Starfire, Stormbound, Landfall, and Windborn), maybe not Sun Herd though, their life was detailed in the series itself?! I was talking to @Firesong about it, and she said she'd be happy to do Mountain Herd! If we did this, we could throw in nods to other stories, (Ex. I could MAYBE mention something that happens in Split and/or Legends Carved on Trees in my story if the authors agree and it would make sense that my main character would know about said thing, XD Our characters could make guest appearances and/or make background appearances in each other's stories. Our characters could meet, ALL THAT JAZZ, XDDDDDD)) I just thought this would be a fun idea to maybe bring these stories together! And it's not limited to just me, River, Storm, and Fire, again, ONLY if River and Storm agree, then you all can create characters for a herd and write about their experiences during the series of The Guardian Herd!!! So, what do you all think??
