Shadow nickered at Meadowlake, “Hi”. She lifted her head and spotted shadow prancing on the hill, ready to play. Meadowlake nickered in amusement, ”Hey”. It was a Starlit night full of constellations, a gentle breeze blowed through the lush, grass creating it to ripple like like water. Shadow neighed to Meadowlake, ”C’mon! lets play”. The trees swayed in the Trap. Meadowlake snorted, “Fine” with a sigh, she wanted to look at the sky, all pretty and blue. Shadow cantered off with her wings dragging along, Meadowlake followed but she couldn’t keep up with Shadow because of her short legs and Shadows long legs. ”Hurry up!” Shadow neighed”The predators will come out”. Meadowlake nickered back”No they won’t, atleast not in this part”. But Meadowlake felt eyes looking, seeing her. She grew nervous at Shadows words, Could they be true? she wondered. But what about the truce?. Meadowlake shrugged it off, she would just fly. A howl of a wolf split the air, she shuddered, maybe Shadow was right. More howls split the air, all were wolves. A growl sounded behind Meadowlake, she felt hot breath on her flanks.
