Shadowbrook started to trotted toward the star as fast as he could. He was getting tireder and tireder. Soo he had to stop and fell into a deep sleep.

Windstrike looked at the filly, "What's your name?" He asked gently.

Nightstar was focaused on his mark as she answered. "Nightstar..."

Lightstar nudged Windstrike, "Let her rest she seems tired."

Nightstar lay curled up next to Lightstar and soon fell asleep.

Windstrike lay down near her and closed his eyes, he fell asleep to the pulsing of his moon shaped mark.

Shadowbrook woke early the next morning. He felt stiff and he groaned as he got up but was soon trotting again toward the star. That star had not left the sky since his and Nightstar's birthday, it was brighter durring the day but it was still there durring the night. He felt lonely and missed Nightstar more and more every mile he walked.

Nightstar jerked awake, "Shadowbrook!" She shouted.

Windstrike laid a wing on Nightstar's back, "Hey its ok." He said gently

Lightstar slowly opened her eyes, "What happened Windstrike?" She asked sleepily.

Nightstar yanked away from the colt. I need to find Shadowbrook!" She said franticly.

Windstrike closed his eyes to focus on his mark, it pulsed and so did hers. She seemed to calm down slowly, "Hey we will find him ok?"

Nightstar looked him straight in the eye. "I trust you." She said

Windstrike nodded, "I wont let you down."
