Moon awoke, her hide was damp with sweat, she was breathing fast. She had always seen that stallion in all her dreams, maybe they were even visions!?

Moon stood up, her legs were shaking from the dream, the stallion had never spoke before, but why now? Moon walked over to the lake that was nearby, she slowly drank some water. Moon’s ears flicked at the sound of someone trotting up to her, Moon turned around, and saw the lead mare Whitecloud.

“The migration starts tomorrow,” with that Whitecloud took to the air and flew back to the herd, leaving Moon to ponder.

Moon paced, her thoughts strayed to her dream, I’m really worried about my herd, should I tell someone about what the stallion said? No, that will worry everyone but I should tell someone. Moon shook her head and sighed.

Moon trotted back to the herd, and went to graze beside Lightheart. Lightheart lifted her head and saw the worried look in Moon’s eyes, “what’s wrong Moon? Had another one of her dreams?” Lightclaw asked.

Moon nodded, “yes, but there was something new in this one, you remember me telling you that the stallion burned up the field with all the pegasi in it?” Moon waited for Lightheart to nod, then she continued, “this time, after he burned the field, he looked up at me and said, ‘your herd will be next”

Lightheart gasped, “Have you told anyone else?” Lightheart asked quietly.

Moon shook her head, “no” she sighed.

“You need to!” Lightheart replied.

Moon shuddered, but nodded, “I’ll go tell Whitecloud right now, see you soon Lightheart,”

Moon took to the air, she wasn’t like black foals who had oversized wings at birth, she had the correct sized wings, and was able to fly easily, Moon soon spotted Whitecloud, and landed near her.

Moon trotted up to Whitecloud and dipped her head respectfully, “ma’am, there’s something I need to talk to you about,” Moon nickered quietly.

Whitecloud looked at Moon, “I’m listening”
