this is a new book series that I am starting. This is my first book so :)

It is set about 3 years after Windborn and River Herd has taken the Sun Herd And the Mountain herd land. Lightfrost and Oaktail are Star's and Morningleaf's foals. Hope you enjoy!

CHAPTER ONE

“Hurry up Dad!” Lightfrost whined as she tugged on Starwing’s long, black mane. He groggily opened his eyes. “Come on the others are waiting.” Lightfrost complained. Starwing lurched to his hooves and looked around. “Waiting for what?” Starwing asked. “For you to get up!” Lightfrost whinnied. Star nuzzled his tiny, chestnut filly and she galloped away before he could get mad that she’d woke him up. Lightfrost kicked off and flew just above the grass, her hooves skimming the longs weeds and landed at her mothers side. “Hey Mama.” She said as she nuzzled Morninglcloud. Morningcloud replied with a nicker. “Where’s your brother?” She asked her black winged filly. Lightfrost flapped her tiny wings and hovered just above the ground. She scanned the lush green plains of River Herd’s land for her twin brother, Oaktail “There he is!” A dark grey colt was galloping towards them, his white-socked legs a blur as he ran for them. He skidded to a halt, breathless and sweating. “Morning Mama. Morning Lightfrost.” He nickered. Lighfrost nuzzled her brother. “Lets go and play with Sunstorm, Crystalwave.” They galloped into the sky flying just below the trees. They landed in the middle of the field and were soon joined by Sunstorm and Crystalwave. “Hey guys!” Oaktail whinnied. “Hey.”

Brackenfire trotted over to the group of foals and warned them not to go too far. “Yes dad.” Sunstorm sighed. Brackenfire was Morningcloud and Starwing’s friend and he was very protective of Oaktail and Lightfrost as well as his own foals.
