So I rarely cry while reading books. I’ve never really cried during a happy ending or an achievement of the main characters, but if a character dies and the author writes them dying, I cry. When I read this scene of (SPOILLLLLLEEEEERRRRRR) Dewberry crying on the (SPOILERRRRRRRR) dead body of (SPOILERRRRRRRRRRR) Bumblewind, I was in my car with my family so I told myself “don’t cry, DONT CRY” cause you know if somebody asks why you are crying you cry even more. But I still did a tiny bit but nobody noticed, so good. But later during that week, I cried for all my favorite dead book characters.
This is probably the saddest scene in the entire series. Dewberry’s love for Bumblewind is so strong in this scene and it’s heartbreaking to read it. When I read it, I had to reread it because it all happened so fast! Bumblewind was fine but then he wasn’t and now he is in the Golden Meadow. It was just too much! He was such an amazing character and he will be forever missed.
*goes in corner of the room and starts sniffling*
I’m crying just seeing that scene put into a drawing... which is beautiful, by the way.
*finishes crying* oh and the art work is BEAUUUUTIFUL. Cats is blessed. Why are you so dang talented?

Fuzzy love nugget is the perfect way to describe him. Cats, that is incredible.
R.I.P Bumblewind!!! Why did he have to die?! But, that looks so cool!!!!
This seen is truly the most heart wrenching in all of Mrs. Alvarez's books, but you did a fantastic job of illustrating it Cats💔😢
