my drawings of Pegasi look like twigs pretending to be horses pretending to be wine bottles. what's wrong with me?? ive been drawing for like 3 years now!!!! :(
You jsut have to pour out your heart and soul, and NO MATTER WHAT, ABSOLUTELY ADORE YOUR FAILED PIECES! DON’T MAKE THEM FEEL BAD JUST BECAUSE AREN’T PERFECT! THEY HAVE FEELINGS TO YA’KNOW! (Me and my insane craziness xD )
I know why you can't draw good (or at least as good as you are wanting to be). It's because you don't think you can.
My advice for if you want to improve your drawings, is study the way others draw theirs, look at pictures of horses online, watch YouTube tutorials, and most of all have patience. I can't tell you how many pictures of horses, pegasi, unicorns, and other equine related creatures I've drawn through out the years, but with every one I made I slightly improved the technique. I always, with every drawing I do, try to note things I don't really like about it so I don't make the same mistake in the next drawing. And you know what? It took me a lot of trial and error to get to the pictures I'm drawing today. If you stick with it Echo, I'm sure that sooner or later you'll figure out your own drawing style -- one that you like -- and then you'll be putting out amazing drawing all the time.
I could not agree with Cats more! But, a thing that’s helping me recently is looking at reference photos and trying to draw from those, or looking at Breyer horse model or Scleich (Is that how you spell that stupidly spelled word? ) horses. But trust me, mine were SO. MUCH. WORSE. When I was younger, but once I truly started to draw for fun and let my imagination get carried away, BOOM! A COUPLE MONTHS LATER, I WAS WOWING EVERYBODY! :D (At least all the fuddy-duddy’s in my school thought so xd )
Your art is awesome! I love it!

You will always judge your art the most, more than everybody else. All i got to say is you gotta practice and keep with it. Never give up!!!
