If you think of the drawing sort of as a clock, then the light source comes from ten o’clock and goes toward four o’clock. Therefore, the shadows are deepest near four o’clock.
You should be proud! That looks great! Especially the back legs while he’s rearing. I can never draw those. And in my opinion, I think the wings are perfect size! I personally like big wings.
