OK. About Lightfeather being Silverlake's adopted daughter, I thought that was a little bit weird. I mean, for one...here we go...they were the same age. Secondly, Lightfeather was an adult. She got to make her own decisions. Thirdly, I always thought of it as Silverlake taking Lightfeather in, and making sure she got what she needed. The quote that Dragon used was talking about Silverlake "adopting" Lightfeather into Sun Herd, nothing more. There is the fact that the overall Starleaf debate often goes to where Star and Morningleaf were milk siblings, and Silverlake was Star's adopted mother so that automatically pushes Lightfeather to be a sort of sibling to Silverlake.

@Stormfrost that makes plenty of sense! StarLeaf just makes me uncomfortable, it did when I first read the books too.
