Well still, someone else who does know how to do that might find these pictures and say to themselves, "ooh, an art piece! I want to make money so I'll change this picture back to what it's supposed to look like and sell it as my own!" They might then be able adjust the pictures Wisp and I posted and make it look like the original piece and be able to sell it. That's why I asked Ms. Dawe if I could post these, and she said yes. Still, on behalf of Sue Dawe, I (well, she) would like it if Wispi would delete her comments with the other pictures.

Update!!!! I emailed Ms. Dawe and she responded!! Here are the two emails:

Dear Ms. Dawe, my name is Jonathan and my sister won prints of three of your paintings in a silent auction at our church. I took pictures of them and posted them online without permission because I wasn't thinking. Please understand this, and I contacted you because I was wondering if you would give me belated permission to post them. I did not label them as my own-- far from it. I said that these drawings were terrific and I wish I knew who the artist was. Silly me, your name was in the bottom corner of these drawings (as you likely know). Also, I was hoping you would tell me what the titles of these pictures were. I will attach the pictures I took of them to this email. Please get back to me soon, thank you!

The titles of the pictures (top to bottom) are “Flying Free,” “Crystal-Horn Wishing-Star,” and “Security”

If the pictures you posted are the same ones you sent me, than that is fine… it would be hard to make prints from images that are photographed on a slant, with reflections on them, etc. If, however, they are high quality photographs, taken straight on, then no, as I make a living selling prints of my images, and anyone could make a print from the photo.

And thank you for asking!  Many people do not.
