Have you guys seen those sugar skulls and skull makeup looks for Dia De Los Muertos? Well, my art teacher had us draw/design one for this weeks (meaning last monday which is when my class is) assignment, and it was SO MUCH FUN. I'm so glad I've been practicing drawing humans though, because I've gotten a lot better at it in the past few months. Before then, they were.....*shudders because they were that bad* and I tried a new technique I learned a few weeks ago! I put watercolor down on the paper first, then did colored pencils over it and I am OBSESSED with this technique now I will be using for almost all of my colored pencil drawings I love the effect it gives.

I Love it! That is very cool! And that technique sounds very similar to one I like to do. You put down marker, and then colored pencil. It is just so much cooler that way! Haven't tried it with water color tho!
