Hida was a friend, a clan member, a brother, and in the end, he was a Hero and a Warrior. He cared for his gang and clan and till the end, fought for it. Everything he did was driven by his heart and strength in both personal matters and ones effecting others. He was one who didn't hold a grudge.

He left the world too soon when a Red Blade named Hunter Kist arrived on Mandalore and baited San Braze with the force. Braze Followed the call and in an attempt not to lose their long lost friend again. The rest of the Gang (Hida, Solaria, and Tarak) went after him.

Hida saved his sister by taking the blade himself. A true Hero to the end...

"Ni su'cuyi, gar kyr'adyc. Ni partali, gar darasuum."

(I am alive, you are dead. I remember you so you are eternal.)

This is used in Mandalorian tradition as a daily remembrance of those who passed away.

"Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la."

(Not gone, merely marching far away.)

This is a Mandalorian tribute to a dead comrade.

"Nuhoy bal draar kar'taylin akaan tug'yc, vod."

(Sleep and never know war, brother)

He will always hold a special place in my heart.

(Hida's armor is Red, Gold, and Silver. That colorful band on his arm is a armlet he had Xelta forge after San disappeared and they feared him dead. Hida didn't want to forget the gang the way it had been so he gave himself a visual reminder painting his, San's, Tarak's, and Solaria's colors in a stripe on the band.)
