WARNING CONTAINS WINDBORN SPOILERS WARNING

What would've happened if Bumblewind hadn't died? I know we all grieve his death, but... if you think about, if Bumblewind hadn't died... would the pegasi of Anok still be ruled by Nightwing? Bumblewind was buried underneath the monument that Star was building, giving him courage. Star was building it for his beloved friend, not his enemy. If Bumblewind hadn't died, Star would still probably be stacking stones at the this point. Wind Herd would have lost hope, believing their hero has given in. Star would never have held up Bumblewind's feather and called "FOR BUMBLEWIND" and Wind Herd wouldn't have neighed back.

So... if you think about it, our buddy Bumblewind basically saved our Herd :)
